 This site was quite tricky to find - the sat nav took us to the wrong place! A quick phone call to the owner resolved this and we were guided in quite quickly. The hard standing was flat and had fabulous views over the lake and mountains. The owner greeted us upon arrival and gave us information on how the site worked and where all the facilities were. The shower and toilet were clean and tidy and being able to use the computer in the information room to access the internet was great. We took full advantage of the on site bird hide and listened to the exotic birds which the farmer also has on site - it's quite surreal to sit in a bird hide in the lakes while listening to cookaburra bird song! The little farm shop was also nice with very reasonable prices. We would definitely stay here again.

Just returned from 3 fantastic days at linskeldfield farm where we were warmly welcomed on arrival
After a traumatic start to our mini break with our tent poles snapping
We were able to go and purchase a new tent to return to site to assemble
The camping pitches are flat and superbly located
We opted for electric hook up excellent prices for 2 adults and 2 children 6. 14
£42. 00 for Thursday till Sunday
Fantastic facilities comprising children's play ground
Brilliant games room where the kids chilled
We had friends who also came with their tent and 3 children
The new shower room, toilet and washer and dryer are excellent
Also facilities to wash up are brill
The views around are spectacular and to wake up on a sunny
Morning to these sights are amazing not forgetting the site has a little farm shop to
Purchase fresh eggs etc and a kids tuck shop in games room
Thank you for a brill holiday and we will be back

We found this to be a very peaceful and relaxing site with lovely views all around, we were the only ones on the site and we had the choice of all the pitches. The owners were very friendly and helpful, they sell free range eggs, cakes, bread and potatoes. Also on the site is a bird hide with a tarn, we heard a bittern calling in the morning but never managed to see it.
