This site is well located for visiting Linlithgow being around a 20 minute walk from the town.
Linlithgow has plenty of lovely cafes, restaurants and independent shops.
The train station is a 30 minute walk away with direct trains into Edinburgh & Glasgow.
The site is sloping so chocs are required. There is a very busy road below the site so there is significant road noise so ear plugs are recommended.
The ladies facilities on site were being renovated (not before time) during our visit so we had to share the men's facilities which was not ideal but we managed. The drain for the grey water was also out of use.
Hopefully the current renovations will result in much better facilities to match the lovely location.

Lovely stay at Loch House Farm. I initially booked for 1 night but day before arriving I requested to extend my stay. Owners responding to all my emails promptly.
I was able to stay a second night.
There was an option to have a sit in or take away breakfast which we didn't use but thought it was a great provision.
Close by to enjoy a lovely walk to Linlithgow centre, Palace and Loch. We stayed so we could attend Party at The Palace/Let's Rock Scotland which was approx a 40 min walk by the Loch from the campsite.
Loos and shower clean and in good working order.
Field terrain is uneven in parts so mind bring blocks to level out your caravan/motorhome.
Close to a main road so traffic noise can be heard.
Didn't bother us at all but might for some people looking to book.

Host was helpful and friendly
Campsite was sufficient for our needs and breakfast rolls were delicious.
Toilet and shower facilities adequate and there was fresh water available. Only one shower so more would be of benefit as it’s a popular site. Porta loos could have been better maintained and there were only 2 in use out of 3 at the time I used it.
Campsite location was further from our event location at let’s rock Scotland than anticipated (20/25 mins walk along the loch which was stunning and we had a glorious day, however on the way back it was pitch black and we got lost and no one else around as they had all passed us by due to me being slow with back and leg problems.
Obviously the issue of no lighting along parts of the loch are not the responsibility or reflection on the campsite, just want people to be aware and take a torch for journey back. Linlithgow town centre is lovely which is about 25 mins walk.
Plenty places to eat and drink.
Would definitely visit again and stay at the same campsite.

Hi there I have to say I enjoyed my one night stay, would have stayed for two but my daughter was moving house so only stayed one night
But very friendly site and had the essential you needed
Not far from town centre of linlithgow
My grandson loved the farm and we enjoyed seeing the horses, my daughter used to do horse riding so she was happy
Thank you very much for your hospitality and would be back again from Ellen Mitchell

Traditional campsite on a working farm.
All the facilities you need and very handy for wander around Linlithgow Loch.
Chance to make friends with the collies.
Next to the motorway but noise not a problem.
Will be staying again.

We found the site well signed and easy to find. We were greeted and shown to our pitch.
It was in the bottom field away from the main road, so not too much noise from the traffic.
The owners were very friendly and so were the dogs. We can highly recommend this site as it is in easy reach of the railway station, easy for Edinborough, Glasgow and Falkirk.
We booked for Four nights but stayed Five as we liked the area.

Lovely friendly hostess, nice hot shower.
M9 noise fairly constant but didn't bother us.
Very reasonable price.
Great location for visiting local attractions.
(PS thanks so much for the giant thistle seed heads, hope they grow as big in Yorkshire)
