Spent one night at this site on our return from the Highlands.
Its location is ideal for a stop off as it’s just off the M9 so easily accessible. This does mean some road noise but it didn’t bother us.
It’s a short walk into the town, which is great with lots of pubs, independent shops and a market. The palace and loch side in town are nice too.
Facilities on site a basic but absolutely fine. Some old vans stores/pitched.
Would stay again for the location.

Working farm just above M9 motorway. Not a problem for us but other reviewers have moaned about the noise. Why stay there when you know beforehand? If you have read the reviews.
Toilets and shower were OK and shower is FREE! Hand wash and shower gels were there for your use if required. Most sites we stayed at on our trip didn't have them so a bonus for us.
Donald and Dot were the most amiable couple you could wish to meet. Nothing was too much trouble, even coming up with the coins for the washing machine and dryer!
Very short walk to Loch and Linlithgow Palace, and also pubs and takeaways.
For £20 per night we have no complaints whatsoever.
Will definitely be back again in a couple of months. Thanks both.

Good proximity to Linlithgow and the owner is very friendly and helpful.
However the site is very close to the M9 so there is a constant buzz of traffic 24hrs a day.
The men's toilet was never cleaned for the two days we stayed and was dirty in the first place.
Shower units are small but manageable but unfortunately they are covered in mildew including the shower curtains.
My wife wouldn't use the ladies toilet because of its lack of cleanliness.
Has grass pitches which are fairly small and mostly on a slope.
Good EHU points and look new.
Chemical toilet disposal unit was adequate and didn't smell unlike some 5* sites we have been too, but did need a clean.

Very friendly hosts. Laid back working farm.
We pitched up in a space beside the storage caravans so away from the main site, suited us as we had the view of the field and lovely inquisitive horses!
The toilet facilities were fair, bit of a dodgy hot/cold shower. Easy walk into town and enjoyed the Linlithgow loch.
The hosts give the impression they would sort any problem. Reasonable price.

Initially welcomed by Dot, who (along with the farm work), then turned out to be the only person at the park site, that dealt with all pitch assignments, giving park info and handling any snags from visitors. However, I will say that she was always cheerful and accommodating. Site was adequate for the 2 nights spent there. Admittedly not quiet due to motorway noise! However, handy for rail travel, as Linlithgow has station and is on main Edinburgh to Glasgow line and there are some good shops and bars.
Toilet/showers were clean and adequate for purpose. Many of the cleanliness problems, were caused by visitors on site. The gents shower area had a 'black' puddle (cleared by (again) Dot), that could have only been caused by a user. Someone had used a sink in the washing room (specifically marked as 'Hand washing only), to wash up dishes. User had left remnants of the meal in the sink, post washing up and had not bothered to clear it. On going to use the gents toilet, there was no toilet roll. Again this was due to the inability of last user to, A: Not bother to locate another roll which was in situ and B: Couldn't even be bother to ask someone for fresh supply!
Toilet/shower areas could use a little TLC.
However, with only (it seemed), one person doing all ancillary plus farm work, I can see where the site is 'wanting'.

Absolutely awful! about 20 mtrs from the M9, the only barrier a fence and some shrubbery. The noise from the traffic on the motorway every day and all through the night was HORRIFIC! We arrived on a friday - ladies toilet block had 3 dead jenny longlegs on window ledge - 3 days later same 3 jenny long legs still there. I would not even consider showering there. It was never cleaned in 3 days. The toilet block floor was littered with dead leaves and dirt. The toilet floor tiles stopped part way into the cubicles and there was concrete- it was as if they ran out of tiles and just stopped. Caravan and camping area is a very small section with very small stony pitches. The gents toilet block was also never cleaned in the three days we were there and didn't have any toilet paper or paper towels for drying hands.
The only positive thing about the site was its proximity to a lovely little town linlithgow.
But it should not be allowed to call itself a camp site as it is definitely not. There seemed to be a lot of caravans there for working guys who used it as a base.
Sorry to be so negative but there wasn't anything positive I could say. I am normally very sceptical of people who give negative feedback as mostly the sites are what you make them. But this time sorry - I thought it was awful and we have been camping for over 20 years and I have never given a bad review. !

First time to site. Very, very basic. Its on a working farm. Toilet etc are in a stable block. Not very clean. But has essentials. Pitch area are very close together in a small field on a slope. Would be difficult if you had anything bigger than a 6mtr van. £15 a night. Its only 10min walk out of town. Smashing town. Linlithgo palace great. Falkirk wheel is great. Kelpies is great. All within 20 mins from site. Site needs many improvements. They would have to carry out many refurbishments before I returned.
