 Lovely campsite, really secure. Owner really friendly, helpful and couldn’t do enough for you.
At site entrance great little food van, serving hot food, lovely lady.
Facilities available when we went were water, electric hookup, Elsan disposal, grey water disposal but no toilets or showers

Lovely location next to river, friendly helpful owner.
Good flat pitxhes, EE and Vodafone signal ok.
TV signal good.
£10 a night for motorhome and £3 electric.
Slightly noisy road and no recycling would be the only negative I would give it.

What a lovely spot to stay
I stayed for 4 weeks with work
Next to river for dog to swim and the owners have made a walk round the fields great in morning
Recommend staying
Elvaston castle just down road
Large coop 2 mins away

A staff friendly site which is spacious and within close distance to Derby and ideal for walking and cycling the canal.
Although there are some long term touring pitches on site all occupants were friendly and welcoming.
Must try the pods and teepees!

This site is a little gem.
Helpful warden, peaceful with lots of walks and cycle paths. Elvaston castle right on the door step with plenty to see.

Super site, a lovely welcome and we are definitely going to return.
As they say arrived as guests, left as friends.

Beautiful and very friendly campsite. The site is just glorious and a magical place to explore for children. The water being so close makes is great for nature spotting and walking.
Nice nearly level pitches and easy to use tap facilities.
With us being self sufficient with own toilet/bathing facilities this made the perfect little break.
We will be back again!
