 Amazing little campsite. Only 9 pitches each pitch has a tap and electric
Huge playing field for children lovely lakes to walk round
The toilets may not be the ritz but they are kept spotless they are spacious always hot water a radiator in each plus heated towel rail and a mat to step onto! Plus a chair and hooks!
The passageway to them had lights and a light came on as you crossed the court yard!
The Sunsets were stunning!
It’s a hidden gem and we would definitely recommend! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Lovely quiet site. Only 5 pitches but all are hard standing with EHU.
Agree that the passageway to the toilets could be better lit but the toilets and showers were clean.
Cafe was a bonus, especially for breakfast and there are a few treasures in the antique shop.
Will be back again when it's a bit drier as there is no path down to the pond / lake, you need to walk on the grass which was a bit soggy

Lovely little site, clean and tidy toilet and showers
Enjoyed the fishing well worth a visit.

Pleasant site with nice grounds & outlook.
Let down by facilities being down an unlit passage with a step in it.
Also could have campsite name on road, we were looking for Golborne and drove straight past Applegates!

Beautiful little place
Went for 3 nights with my wife and children we had a great time.
Left to your own space no body bothered us at all
Lovely pond with deck chairs nice and relaxing
Looking forward to returning.

Lovely site with water and ehu on our massive pitch.
Also there's a beautiful pond/ lake at the back of the site that has a decking area with seating supplied.
We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights, thanks Phil 😊

Absolutely excellent. Phil came and spoke shortly after we arrived, as the shop etc was closed. Came again the following day checking if all ok.
Facilities really clean. Beautiful setting.
Will definitely be visiting again and would certainly recommend. Thank you.

Been here 4 times now and is the perfect spot to explore the Wirral, North Wales and the City of Chester.
No frills campsite but adequate for your needs with water on the pitch and EHU.
Plenty of hot water in showers and pan wash. New composite decking and chairs like a pier on the pond.
Many thanks to Phil who was on site to sort anything out and for advice, I'll be back.

Nice little site, clearly in the process of being developed. No complaints at all.
Facilities were clean.
Nice lake to sit by in the evenings, with a short walk /nature trail.
