Superb site 😊 Very large pitches, quiet and peaceful, toilets and showers 5 star.

Great walks nearby. 2 Dog friendly pubs within 20 minute walk.

Lovely to have free use of pristine swimming pool.

Highly recommended 👍🐶👏⭐

Absolutely fabulous site, all the staff are wonderful, bar is brilliant, pool, jacuzzi, shop etc etc, cannot fault the site.

I cannot believe nobody else has mentioned the access, the roads once you leave the A6 are VERY narrow, if you meet oncoming traffic, and you will, you are guaranteed to push the side of your van into the bushes, and god forbid you meet another car/caravan coming the other way!

Excellent site once there but the roads to it are very windy and narrow. Variety of pitches -all fully serviced with an aerial point.

Some are huge between hedges with grass strip at the side and behind. Others are more open on a fully gravelled space.

Non allocated so first come first served. Some areas very noisy with large groups of an evening but we were on a very quiet pitch not far from toilet facilities.

Showers best I’ve seen -plenty of space and no wet feet. Push button with temp control. Absolutely spotless well done to the cleaning team.

We had breakfast at the cafe bar-very reasonable and good quality.

Just needed to be wary of traffic moving about the site

I absolutely loved this site and cant wait to go back for another stay.

The view was amazing.

The pitches are nicely spaced.

Showers and toilets spotless.

Wonderful walks from site and so many.

The Wardens were very welcoming, helpful and friendly.

Amy who owns the site is wonderful.

The grounds man was so helpful and went out of his way to help my friend who was desperate for fuel for his car.

Wonderful people and site.

Highly recommended.

The touring pitches are spacious and set in beautiful surrounding with a lot of wildlife about, had a deer run by near to our pitch once.

Some of the pitches are quite distant from the toilet blocks and the reception area can be a long walk too depending where you're sited.

The area is excellent for walking but anyone less able involves taking a car out however I'm never too keen on taking the motorhome out especially with the narrow lanes around.

We caught the No. 51 bus once to Silverdale villge for a walk and a meal in the very nice Silverdale hotel.

Used the on site bar a couple of times and found the staff very pleasant.

Our stay came with unlimited use of the pool area.

My first camping trip, super clean site lots of friendly people if you need help.

Tom a warden was fantastic - always checked that I was ok on his rounds with being on my own and a 68 year old.

Lovely food in the restaurant, a shop, pool and bar.

The shower blocks are spotless no wonder they won a platinum award this year.

Love the location and spacious pitches.

The beach is a short walk away and the pool with steam room and sauna is great.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Just one detail could improve this site- to rearrange the toilet cleaning to an afternoon slot.

Surely the showers etc are most used in the morning?

This is a common fault on many sites.

An extremely well kept well maintained site.

Lovely walks/bike rides around the local area.

Unfortunately we didn’t get the weather as it did rain slot during our stay.

Our saving grace was the pool which we visited two of the three days during our stay.

We have a dog and unfortunately couldn’t take her in the bar/clubhouse even though she is well behaved.

Not very well lit at night so please take a torch with you.

Had a lovely meal in the Longlands pub which is about 10/15 minutes drive away…. Would definitely recommend.

Some lovely views of Morcambe bay.

We paid £153 for the three nights which includes all facilities so it’s not bad.

Toilets and showers are spotless.

Would probably revisit in the summer months

Excellent facilities for children. Pool was a bonus.

Pitches were very good and well looked after.

Showers were erratic in temperature and not very powerful.

Would have expected better showers for the price paid.

Overall very good.
