Lovely site, well maintained, some of the pitches seemed a bit small but our 7. 5 got on no problem, popular for fishing.
Facilities kept beautifully clean, nice to have piped music.
Had a lovely meal in restaurant, great service and staff friendly.
We went to completely chill out so never left site so can't comment on surrounding area but the site itself is worth a walk around, some very quirky items laying around.
A lot of ducks and ducklings when we were there which was lovely to see.
Nice site which we will visit again.

Right on arrival met with a smile and a very warm informative greeting. Explained how to find our pitch and preferred method to park up (general moho etiquette)
Beautiful spot facing on to the most attractive lake we have been to yet, with lodges around the other three sides, further lakes on site also had lodges around with hot tub and veranda for direct fishing of the Lake.
Bonus for this site is the on site restaurant open bfast to supper and you can order to collect or have delivered to your moho. We ate Saturday eve both the steak and fish and chip meal were larger than we expected and tasted awesome.
The site was very clean visually you saw staff from ground keepers to cleaners busy and efficient.
The best were the kitchen staff who you could hear singing along to the radio having so much fun in their work.
The shower and toilets were immaculate and easy to access and use. But the whole site is beautifully set with ornaments very dog friendly even in the restaurant, however not at the loss of nature.
In the islands in the lake I witnessed a Chinese goose nesting with her partner close by. Other birds from ducks to buzzards and also they have their very own owl box

There are two reasons why you would want to come to Caistor Lakes in particular:
- The fishing, if you are into that
- The very good on-site licensed restaurant.
Toilets and showers are good. The touring pitches are average. If you are into fishing you'll want to get a pitch next to the fishing lake. If you're not, ask for a pitch away from the fishing lake to avoid possibly having a fisherman sat right outside your van window.

Very helpful friendly Adult only site.
Immaculate toilet and shower blocks, with a fantastic pub on site, The Ugly Duckling, beautiful fishing lakes, and dog friendly,
Will definitely go back very relaxing.

Spent four nights at Caistor lakes last week and, I am very impressed with everything it has to offer, the pitches are large and flat, (because of the length of our motorhome, we were given two pitches for the price of one)
The staff couldn't have been more helpful and efficient, I told the lady in reception that a toilet was blocked, and someone came within 5 minutes to unblock it.
The site itself is very clean and tidy with excellent views of the surrounding area, there are no statics on it but it does have 16 beautiful lodges on the banks of three pools(excellent fishing),
The toilets are spotless and seem new, the restaurant serves very good meals but, some people may think they are a bit pricey, electric is metered but, if like us you are careful with it's use (£8.56) four days, the total cost is still cheaper then a lot of other sites (£103).
All in all a very pleasant stay and will definitely be returning if you visit, look for the giant tortoises and the huge koi carp they have on site.

This is an excellent site. It's the cleanest and best kept that we have been on.
Toilets and showers are brand new, well specified and well kept. The site has it's own restaurant too.
Reception staff were very helpful and accommodating and made our check in and check out simple and easy.
We had covid the eek before we were originally due to be there. The site was very understanding and allowed to rebook to a later time without further charges. Brilliant!
The town of Caistor is small so don't expect wild night life there, but it does have a pub which does meals, two chip shops, two other takeaways and a reasonably sized Co-op store.
We loved the view to the rear of the caravan, 3 paddocks with some horses in and all the duck families on site. "Hopalong", a duck with a severe limp cane over to us regularly for breakfast! Great!.

A lovely site - beautifully maintained, with well-spaced ample sized pitches, surrounded by lakes.
The toilet/shower blocks were spotlessly clean.
We paid the standard £25 for electric and a fob to gain entry to the site, but only used £2. 50 worth of electricity in 5 days, and that was with a fridge, a telly and a fan to keep cool, so were given a refund.
We found a nice dog walk close to the site - a bridleway, with several paths branching off, which was great for our morning walk.
There is a restaurant on site too. We would definitely recommend!

First time using this lovely site.
Excellent clean facilities, heated shower and toilet block, brilliant showers with plenty of hot water.
Electricity is paid for separately but very reasonable, we paid £5 for 3 nights.
Staff friendly and helpful and fishing available too.
Good location, a short walk and your in the lovely small town of Caistor with good dog friendly pub, (good meals ) a Chinese takeaway and a kebab takeaway, also a chip shop.
Good walks from the site and loads just a short drive away,
Definitely worth a visit.

Very tidy and organised site, staff Very polite and friendly
Log cabins on site are also commercial let as well
Facilities are spotlessly clean but could probably be bigger to accommodate the number of units
On site steak House which we used for breakfast and evening meal, staff again were fantastic but evening meal was a bit of a let down with the chef not knowing what to send out with relation to the description on the menu?
Electricity is by the meter with £20 deposit and a refund for what not used, fine by me as long as the nightly booking fee is reduced first.
Biggest concern is the sites layout and the central plots, and when full would be way to close together
