A very nice site which is adults only, which suited us not that we mind children.
All facilities were clean and modern, staff were polite and helpful.
We ate in the restaurant on two occasions and the food was very nice if perhaps a little on the expensive side.
It didn't really bother us but when we were there there was quite a lot of little yappy dogs for the fist couple of days, children would have made less noise.

This is a five star quality site with great facilities. Fishing a great Bistro that serves really good food B/Fast to dinner pitches are a really good size and level.
The ladies that look after the site in the main office are simply the best so pleasant and helpful always with a smile.
Never a problem changing bookings accommodating friends being close.
Short walk to Town and C Op so goo I’ve booked twice more this year and booking next as well.

Anyone who’s been going to Caistor lakes for years as I have do not expect anything like we’ve had for the past several years. Fishing gone friendly staff gone amazing food gone in fact everything that made it a special place to be gone.
Called in one morning for breakfast to be told technical problem in kitchen it’s shut. Rang up to days later to see if ‘technical problem’ yes right! Had been sorted was told yes it was now open stopped at 10am four days later to be told couldn’t have breakfast hadn’t booked. It would have been helpful if I was told this when I rang up.
After speaking to regular locals they have also been turned away even though restaurant was empty. Such a shame as there is no where else as good as it was. Ps anyone looking for 52 pounder in Arthur’s forget it went years ago just fiction. Now.

Well kept lovely site.
The staff are so polite & friendly.
Unfortunately no designated dog walk just a busy road outside the park.
The whole park is lit up all night which is quite unnecessary.
Nevertheless a great restaurant on site which serves great food nearly all day.
We had booked a week but the weather was atrocious so came home early.

Arrived at the site on Friday afternoon, it’s a bit tight getting the caravan in place but well worth it. The staff showed us to the pitch and told us where all the water and wastewater areas was, electric is metered you have to pay a deposit of £20 but we only used less then £3 over the three day/nights.
The large shower room and toilet facilities were very clean and well kept, no push button showers here.
The restaurant on site is very good, modern and clean.
A perfect retreat for fishermen, as it has 3 decent sized lakes, plus holiday lodges, the site is very nice, well kept and quite, we will return at some point.

Stayed here at this gorgeous site for 3 nights. The staff were friendly and helpful, showing us to our allocated pitch, which was right at the front of a beautiful lakeside view !
The shower/toilet facilities were very clean and well kept, altogether a very well maintained site. Also, the park is well lit at night, ideal for when you're out and about ! An adult only and dog friendly site, which is ideal for ourselves and other dog owners.
A perfect retreat for fishermen, as it has 3 decent sized lakes, plus holiday lodges and a lovely on-site restaurant, with a good choice of menu and drinks.
Really enjoyed our stay here, and will definitely be returning again very soon ! Thanks to all the lovely staff, it's a true credit to you all !

Excellent layout, location not too big or far to walk to facilities. Good dog friendly walks nearby. 10 minutes walk to nearest pub. But very nice lincenced restaraunt on site, food very good and high standard.
Also fishing, but as we are not fishermen not able to assess this.
But will certainly stay there again been 3 times now. Pitches are good too hard standing and plenty of room. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Stayed here early May Bank Holiday - very busy.
Great welcome on arrival and shown to pitch. Pitches are very tight and relatively small, so hopefully like us you will have great neighbours! All in all fitted our needs for a fishing weekend on an adult site with just our four legged friends.
My husband enjoyed the fishing and I enjoyed the weather - bliss.
Facilities here have to be amongst the best I have seen. Modern, well maintained and extremely clean. Like other posts have already said, they charge extra for electricity but it is at cost and it cost us pennies for the four nights.
There is a restaurant on site which we only used on the day of our departure for a breakfast roll, which was great, but everyone was waxing lyrical about the food and the service whilst we were there.
All the staff are really friendly, helpful and professional.
Cannot fault the site and look forward to another visit.

Absolutely excellent adults only site, with three fishing lakes and a restaurant/cafe serving excellent food. Shown to pitch on arrival by a very helpful young lad. Toilets/showers are very high quality with extra large showers, all done out to excellent standard.
Pitches are compact but spotless, we were lucky enough to have one overlooking the lake where my husband could fish from. Food in the restaurant is truly exceptional, we had afternoon tea and an evening meal during our stay which were both excellent - staff again were super efficient and friendly.
All staff here are unbelievably nice, it made such a difference to our stay. Electric is in addition to the pitch price of £22 per night, but they charge you at cost and don't make a profit on this. Wi-fi is free! 20 min walk to village centre is worth a wander.
All in all we loved it here and will definitely be back. You deserve great success here at Caistor Lakes.

This is a fabulous site which has only been open a year or so, but it really does deserve its five star rating. All the staff are extremely friendly, somebody is always on hand if needed. Yes you are shown to your pitch but I think that's really nice, and all the facilities are explained and pointed out.
The hook up is metered, which is fair and not expensive. We have a 7+ metre van, the heating was on all weekend, not always on full but on none the less, and we used about £7 over two days.
The restaurant was fabulous and we did spoil ourselves. Excellent evening meal, lovely tea & cake on Saturday and huge breakfast on Sunday. Nothing is too much trouble and we will definitely be returning. Many thanks
