Lovely site in a really lovely area. Our first trip to the Lincolnshire Wolds and it did not disappoint.
We stayed in the upper field with lovely views. Site is immaculate as were the facilities.
We didn't venture too far from the site on this trip but did a couple of nice walks and enjoyed the sunshine that had finally arrived 😀
We will definitely be back.

Lovely small site with 5 hard standings and grass pitches. Situated in a working farm, the site is sloping and chocks will be required for nearly all pitches.
We had a pitch at the top of the site which offered fantastic view of the Wolds but unfortunately we were unable to get level front to back even with chocks.
There are 2 hardstandings to the right of the entry gate that are levelish but don't benefit from the view.
2 bathroom style washrooms with a shower, toilet and handbasin in each. Unfortunately the handbasin was only big enough for hand washing and not suitable if you wanted a strip down wash but both were kept clean and tidy and the showers were just the right temperature and power.
A small washing up sink is also provided with leaflets and walks for the local area at the side of the washrooms with a waste/recycling/ chemical disposal point on the other. A water point is half up the site on the lefthand side.
The grass on site was on the long side but this was being cut the day before we left.
The amenities in the village of Hagworthingham is a short walk away with 2 cafes, a pub and a butchers, all along the A158. The 56 bus runs hourly through the village between Lincoln and Skegness. We used the pub,
The George and Dragon and had a meal there one night, recommended. JJ's cafe is also recommended for breakfast ( takes cards and dogs!). One day we took the bus to Horncastle. Recommended especially if you like antique centres.
The other day we did a local 6 mile circular walk via Bag Enderby, also recommended ( map of which left by washing up station on site).
All in all had a great stay and would return again. Recommended.

There is nothing here to dislike! Helen is warm, friendly and helpful, the site is small but we were well enough spaced for privacy.
The facilities were constantly spotless and attention to cleanliness was excellent. Necessary in these 'Covid times'
Positioned perfectly for visits to Lincoln, walks in the Wolds, exploring nearby lovely little market towns, like Horncastle or Alford, visits to the coast and the Nature Reserves.
Gibraltar Point was a wonderful day out. Or just relaxing on-site soaking up views and sunsets. A lovely walk from the site to the Snape Dales nature reserve on our first evening delighted us with amazing birdsong, lots of ash trees and a fox on the pathway! Also a good dark sky area for stargazing at night.
The only drawbacks were 1)no chemical toilet disposal point and 2) no WiFi. Neither was a problem for us but could be for some if not aware.

I love this site❤️, in the last year we've visited 3 times. Helen is very helpful and conscientious.
The toilet/washing facilities are immaculate.
Very well situated for Lincoln, the coast and the world's. Lots of footpaths and bridleways nearby.
On the farm there are sheep, ponies and cattle.

Once again we had a lovely time at furze hill, the views are great, easy to get to just of the main A road, quite a challenge should you decide to come from the south side of the village, which I presume a previous reviewer did, but great host Helen, always happy to see you and help and to talk to on the phone.
East kirkby is only 15min drive away, skegness 30mins drive away, which I think has been revived a little, but I think Furze hill is for us a great place to be for what we need to explore the area and only being a couple of hours from home, and looking forward to returning, thanks Helen.

What a lovely campsite. Seemed to be split into two - one part for caravans/motorhomes and a post and rail fence dividing the second half for tents.
We have a large tent and electric hookup and in the corner this was perfect. Flat and regularly cut grass. Helen works like a trooper to keep the site clean and tidy.
There is slight traffic noise from the A158, but depends on how the wind is blowing. The view across the rolling fields is stunning.
Facilities were spotless, kitchen wash up area, two separate shower rooms with loos (30 second push button shower). Lovely tidy waste area. Dog's allowed. All in all a lovely site. Would definitely return.

What a lovely place to stay, so peaceful and relaxing with wonderful views. Great location for walking in the countryside and visiting local villages on foot.
There's a regular bus from the village too if you want to explore further. The site is very neatly kept, with a few hardstands if you prefer.
There are two shower rooms with loo and basin in each, and a little wash up room. Helen keeps everything spotless and tidy, she really cares about the site.
I agree with a previous comment that you feel you are a guest, not just a camper.
I only wish it was closer to home so that I could be a regular visitor!

What a beautiful place to stay, the most perfect views from the caravan windows of the Lincolnshire wolds, outstanding walks from the site, Hagworthington is a very pretty village with two cafes, one public house and even a butchers shop, Helen the site owner sells free range eggs at the site entrance which are fantastic, far better than supermarkets.
The site showers are excellent, very clean with endless hot water, toilets and showers kept spotless, My wife Jane agrees out of all the sites we have stopped on, this one on many levels beats them all.
Well done Helen and thank you for allowing us to come and visit, hope to return many times in the future.
Obviously very highly recommended and outstanding value for your hard earned money
