This site is wonderful - a hidden gem in a fabulous part of the Lincolnshire Wolds.

Stayed for 6 nights and wanted to stay longer. Helen is such a lovely lady and her attention to detail is spot on. Can't wait to return.

Excellent local walks - and handy for a trip to the coast too, if you fancy a short drive. Toilet and showers immaculate and cleaned regularly.

Kitchen and information area well equipped, as well as waste disposal etc. Location and views to die for, rolling fields everywhere (no - Lincolnshire is NOT all flat).

Brilliant location for dog walking too. Nice local eateries and the beautiful towns of Horncastle and Woodhall Spa not far away.

I just can't wait to return.

What a lovely site. Helen is not just the owner of the campsite, she is a host. Upon arrival you are treated as guests, nothing is too much bother and she is incredibly down to earth. Helen has a wealth of knowledge about the local area, and really goes out of her way to offer suggestions of good places to visit.

The site is on a slant, and doesn't offer any hard standing, but has a stunning view, horses (which our children loved feeding) are in the next field. The site has 2 toilet rooms which both offer lovely hot showers for guests. The facilities are well looked after and cleaned regularly. The site also offers a small washing up area, with local information and brochures.

All pitches appear to have EHU, and a drinking water tap is available at the side of the field.

Very accommodating for families with dogs and benefits from beautiful walks locally.

We visited here for new year 2018 and feel that the price of £16 per unit per night with no extras to pay offers good value. The campsite is open all year.

Skegness is approximately a 20 minute drive.

We look forward to returning to the site and wish Helen all the success in the future.

We will be nominating the site for the 'best campsite award' on the camping and caravanning club website.

Just returned from a relaxing 4 night stay at Furze Hill Farm, we booked to stay here because of its proximity to Lincs Aviation at East Kirkby as the Annual Airshow was taking place and is only a 10 minute drive from the Caravan CL.

Helen is really welcoming and was very helpful, the site has easy access 200 yards off the main the A158. There is a Toilet and Shower Block with an area for washing pots, they are kept very clean.

The location of the CL is ideal for exploring the area as near by is Horncastle & Spilsby only a few minutes away if you need the shops. Skegness is only 13 miles away.

RAF Coningsby is only 20 minutes away too ideal for watching the Typhoons and the BBMF (Battle Of Britain Memorial Flight).

If you are into Walking there are many routes and Helen can help with their whereabouts and Snipe Dales a local Nature Reserve is only 5 minutes away.

There is also a couple of Wildlife Parks nearby and we did visit Lincolnshire Wildlife Park to see the Tigers in their huge enclosure.

The CL is on a slight slope but there are plenty of blocks if needed, next to the Toilets, The site is really well looked after as you can tell Helen puts a lot of hard work in to keep it looking good.

We would highly recommend Furze Hill Farm CL and we will be returning, thank you for a great stay and look forward to seeing you soon.

A lovely little site, with very welcoming host Helen, both during initial phonecall and during stay (2 nights for me, 1 night for my friend, in 2 backpacking tents).

Excellent wash block (contains 2 identical rooms, each with a toilet, washbasin with hand towel and shower, with mat and cloths to wipe spilled water) and washing up room with local tourist leaflets, general magazines and paperbacks for 50p.

Very friendly animals, too, including a slightly portly collie (who leant against my legs every time we met), slightly portly white cat with tabby patches (who walked past my tent each night and rolled on my feet for attention, on its way to a hedge which it watched intently, but didn't catch any rodents), plus two brown ponies in neighbouring field, one a Shetland.

Rare breed hen eggs and cucumbers were on sale from trolley at roadside, so took treats home. Ate 2 evening meals at George & Dragon pub (£10 Friday fish, chips, peas / salad and pudding was especially good value), and this was the base for Wolds Mini Mountain Marathon, which was our reason for the weekend.

Also visited Gibraltar Point (car through Skegness) and Snipe Dales (on foot) nature reserves. Rachel's Cafe does good value all day breakfasts etc, but takes cash only, like this campsite, so be prepared!

This site was perfect for us. We booked for two weeks but stayed for three.

The site is a quiet, slightly sloping field(blocks are available if needed) with wonderful views over fields and gently rolling hills. Gorgeous sunrises and sunsets.

The toilet facilities, two loos/showers, are new and spotlessly clean and are alongside a useful washing up/ information room.

A pub serving good food is a 10 minute stroll. There are two cafe/teashops, one with a butchers/farm shop. 5 minutes to the bus stops for Lincoln or Skegness.

Lovely walking from the site and around. The area is full of WW2 RAF museums and memorials.

New owner, the lovely, friendly Helen is very enthusiastic and keen to make her visitors feel welcome.

Worth the long drive and a super place to revisit.

Great site, warm welcome from Helen. Spotless shower and toilet block.

Small area to side for washing up, information, books etc. Close to an excellent eating pub and two cafes.

Also a butchers- bacon excellent! Walks and cycling from the site

Fabulous site, spotless modern facilities with a very warm welcome from Helen and Skip (the very enthusiastic border collie)

Views are fantastic, a lovely village pub 5 minutes walk away and a tasty Farm Meats shop just down the road. There is also a second hand shop for browsing and Julia's Poultry farm for gifts as well as rare breed chickens for sale.

Will be returning very soon.
