We stayed at this campsite with a hot tub pitch.
Our hot tub had a wooden shed around which gave extra privacy and we stored our chairs in here overnight.
We had a hard standing pitch which was lovely.
The site is peaceful and staff are friendly.
The loos are farm themed which we just loved.
They were very clean and great facilities.
There is a dog wash area and plenty of hooks for tethering four legged friends too.
The farm shop cafe and restaurant are great.
They seam to have thought of everything you may need.
I would highly recommend this site.
We visited new quay which is lovely and nearby beaches.
We also visited honey bee farm which is very interesting great for families and educational for children.

Absolutely wonderful stay here on one of the hot tub pitches overlooking the lake.
The staff on the site and in the bistro and shop were all absolutely lovely and so helpful.
Pitches are a good size and have their own water tap. Toilets and showers clean and roomy.
If I had any negative comments at all there’s the rule about everything having to be on hardstanding. I understand the desire to keep the grass in good condition but surely people in tents would have a tough time sleeping on the gravel?!
Also there were some neighbours who kept leaving their dog alone while they partied at another pitch, and it howled a lot. I realise this isn’t the site’s fault but I feel like they should have had a word, it really detracted from the otherwise perfectly peaceful atmosphere.
Tub is checked twice a day. We shared ours with a pair of nesting swallows which was just idyllic.
This is a fabulous spot and I think we’ll be back.

Large flat pitches. We had a hot tub pitch which was a lovely bit of luxury.
They come and check it twice a day about 8. 30am and 5pm, but not intrusive and very quiet (we were still in bed most mornings and didn't hear them).
The pitches themselves could do with a bit of weeding and tidying up at the back, but maybe that's me being fussy and they are going for the natural look rather than the manicured look?
Staff all very friendly - as was Thomas the resident cat.
Food in Bistro great and food and drinks not overpriced.
Toilet/shower block was always spotless.
No children to comment on the child friendliness

Beautiful clean site. Clean, well-kept toilet and shower block.
The dog wash is a genius idea, which we made good use of over the week we stayed, with a bonkers cocker spaniel!
Bistro was delicious, managed to get a table twice and food was great both times. Good selection of drinks in the bar too.
The shop on site is small but well stocked, with a good variety of food, and gift options too.
We didn't have a hot tub as they were fully booked, but we are going back again in Feb for a hot tub pitch - what a brilliant idea.
There is a secure dog field on site. We also walked to the coastal path and walked to Aberaeron, and back. Took about 3. 5 hours.
Beautiful views but not for the faint hearted!

This was not one of our usual type of sites, too large and too busy with lots of children running around, everyone bbq-ing outside their units quite late.
However it is very well set out, pitches fairly level but quite close to each other.
Bistro was full when we enquired about an evening meal, but they were happy to do a take-away for us which was very good. Not much in the way of vegetables in the 'farm shop' which surprised us.
It was handy for a night's stop over.

Speechless, this site improves every year, the play barn and new kitchen weren’t yet completed but looked amazing.
Always a warm welcome from Chris & Gethin, this year we had struggled to book a pitch as they were busy, but on turning up to grab supplies from their amazing farm shop, they were able to accommodate us.
We Bbq’d that evening from their butchery dept and popped in, in the morning for further supplies and a cuppa before making our way to our next destination.
On leaving Gethin was available to wish us goodbye, we were so sad we couldn’t stay longer, but assured him we would return next year.
Thank you for a short but extremely pleasant stay

Fabulous site. Spotlessly clean everywhere.
Staff in all areas were amazing, nothing too much trouble.
We stayed in a gypsy caravan which was great.
Unfortunately we had to leave early after a problem at home so we’re very disappointed.
We will be going again.

If only all rules were enforced as much as the arrival time. At 11. 35 we were told to wait until 12. 00 for our already empty pitch. We were informed that we could buy drinks in the bistro while we waited. We chose not to.
Dogs on leads at all times? So many dogs wandering around. I had to ask the folk on the next pitch to tether their dog so that I could take mine out.
A plus point, the dog field, fenced all round and safe for off lead runs, except when it had been taken over by a dozen children who saw it more as a football pitch.
Toilets were closed for cleaning in the morning around 8. 30 - 9. 15 just as the campers were rising and wanting to use the facilities. They should have been checked throughout the day, by the afternoon there was no toilet tissue and the floors were dangerously wet.
The bistro, very limited menu, none of the famous moody cow steaks that we were looking forward to. When our meals came to the table, I had to send them back as they were served cold. The company of a cat walking around our legs was as unwelcome as the cold food, and not hygienic. I note that since our visit last week a chef has been employed so I'm hopeful the food will improve.
Our pitch No34 is not level and the rocks in the subsoil make it almost impossible to peg an awning. We broke 12 pegs (take spares).
