The site is easily accessible form the main road. The pitches are all very large and many have hot tubs. Shower and toilet facilities were clean although quite often wet on the floor due to soggy hot tubbers dripping into the showers.

There is a large enclosed dog field which seemed to be fairly well drained although a bit of a muddy walk to get to it.

There isn’t much to walk to - the coastal path is around 40 mins walk down a narrow country lane but then it’s another 3 or 4 miles to walk to a town from there.

The site seems to still be very much under construction with the addition of a fishing lake underway.

Loved the peaceful feel of this site even though it was height of summer and full. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the shower block immaculate.

We had a hot tub pitch which is great for relaxing.

We had a meal at the on site bistro ( outside as per the Covid rules) and the meals were hot and very good.

I would have liked a veggie option but think the menu was limited because of Covid.

The farm shop is very handy too and worth a visit for local produce.

The nearby village of Llwyncelyn has a fuel station with spar shop where you can buy newspapers etc and is walkable, though New Quay and Aberaeron are very close by.

Will definitely be back

Lovely site with good facilities and friendly staff. You can even have a pitch with a hot tub!

Nice cafe, bar and farm shop. Very clean toilets and shower block.

Just a mile walk to the coastal path. 4 miles to New Quay, lovely town with sandy beach or Aberaeron with good town centre shops and pebble beach.

Site can be soggy after the rain but good drainage on the gravel pitches. Site access road needs tarmacing as its very rough.

What a great site. Good enclosed dog walking field and nice new shower/toiler facilities. Part of facilities still being finished off ie dog wash.

Although road in to & around site is gravelled and muddy/puddles during heavy rain I believe plans are in place to have road tarmacked in the near future. Friendly helpful staff showed us to the pitch and where the facilities were. Lovely quiet site and great sized hard standing pitches and good grass area to the side.

Farm shop and Moody Cow restaurant were amazing. Part of restaurant was dog friendly so great as we have 2 labradors. Fantastic food, great sized portions (too big sometimes), helpful staff. Even ordered food to bring home. Amazing pint of Guinness. Sunday dinner and breakfast were the best we've had for a long time, struggled to eat it all.

Can't wait to return again. Nice to sit out in evening and look over the lake. Play area inside and outside for children.

Fabulous, friendly and helpful staff and the butchers/deli/ shop in the main building sells a wide selection of reasonably priced produce including beer, wine and cider.

Very much a site still under construction but at a price consistent with being much, much better. £28/night is in my opinion excessive for facilities which are primitive.

Toilets and showers remain in portacabins and were dirty throughout our stay over the Easter weekend. No washing up area.

Having said that, the individual pitches are very large and flat and each are fully serviced. I am sure that when the site is complete it will be grand.

As has been said already, it's a work in progress. New toilet block is hoped to be ready by start of main season.

Out of season price was £15 per night with electric (hot tub pitches £25). Restaurant serves huge portions but is not top quality but good value.

Owner and staff were delightful, welcoming and helpful.

Very nice people all stop to talk to you to make sure all is ok. This is a new site with work ongoing on the new toilet shower block.

Pitches are hard standing with water waste and electric for £25.

Good meals big portions in the moody cow bistro very good service 8/10 for now will give 10/10 when shower block complete.

Will visit again.

This has the potential to be a really great site. It's still new and not quite there yet. The welcome in the excellent cafe / farm shop was friendly and we were left to find ourselves a pitch.

These are all large flat and fully serviced if looking a bit unkempt, partly due to the weather.

The facilities were in modern portaloos however work had started on the permanent ones. The hot tub pitches were popular but not for us.

The access roads are becoming a bit pot holed and it does lack some facilities although these are planned, hence my first comment.

It was remarkably quiet for absolutely peak season as was the area which offers plenty to do from traditional seaside through to market towns and other more athletic pursuits.

The site is very easy to find. We were greeted in the restaurant by very friendly staff on arrival. We were given all revelent information then drove onto the site. We had booked a standard pitch, and told we could choose the pitch.

All the pitches are hardstanding with ehu, water and a drain. After setting up we had a look around.

The toilet/showers housed in a portocabin which we knew before we booked. On inspection were found to be perfectly clean, although we do use our own. These were cleaned twice a day, with plenty of hot water (free). A fenced off field with a gate and bin on site so can let your dogs have a run around off lead. While we were there the work had already begun on the new facilities block.

The site was very peaceful and friendly. During the week we visited the Moody Cow a few times. We always felt welcome, service good and food really tasty and good value. The site is ideally situated for visits to some lovely places and beautiful beaches.

We found the owners and family very friendly and helpful. The only things I missed on site were wifi and laundry facilities, but this will be done at a later date.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week and have now booked again for later in the year. The site will be amazing when fully established.

After following this site for over a year on their FB page I took the plunge and booked to stay at the beginning of May. First impressions were not good, the owner is not at all friendly and the farm dogs were running around loose.

Anyway we pitched on the hard standing after removing rubbish and made sure nothing was touching the grass as per instructions.

Went to find the toilet facilities and was shocked by the state of them, dirty with no proper handwashing facilities and the showers appeared to not have been cleaned for a long time.

On checking the cafe/pub we found it has only a 3* rating so didn't eat there but the look of the scotch eggs and quiche I think they are homebaked as opposed to homemade. The staff all looked thoroughly fed up so we didn't bother to even stop for a drink.

1 night was enough for us and we left early the next day - the atmosphere is not welcoming, most of the guests appear to be long term residents.

There are plenty, more friendly sites around the area to use and are the same price or cheaper.
