This is a very small site located at the back of The Pavilion carpark and is literally 5 minutes walk from the centre of Llangollen which has a plethora of excellent eating places even one that opens at 7:30am (yay!) for breakfast.
The site is very quiet, adults only, doesn't take tents and doesn't have Wi-Fi. The facilities are kept spotlessly clean by the very friendly and helpful staff.
The road-side sign is literally the size of a tablet and is easily missed.
There is plenty of walking in the area, much of which can be done from the site (warning: the walk up castell Dinas Bran is very, very steep, but worth the effort for the view).
A short drive away is Chirk castle (NT), Chirk aqueduct and tunnel and of course the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct.
This is definitely a site to remember.

We had an amazing time at penddol caravan park.
Very quiet site great amenities and Angie was so helpful that we have booked to go back already.
Right next to the canal short walk into the town and there is a lovely walk up to horseshoe falls.
Very relaxing and peaceful
Would definitely recommend the site.

The site was lovely.
Not enough toilets or showers for the site though.
We enjoyed our stay.
Site is not staffed through the night for problems (out of ours number just rings out)

Beautiful location above the Dee valley, as well as near the canal, and an easy walk into central Llangollen.
Warm welcome and helpful advice from the owners

We stayed for 3 nights over the August Bank Holiday weekend on this really friendly and convenient site.
Angie, the site manager met us on arrival and directed us to the water point and our pitch, which was nice and level and also checked with us later that all was OK.
The location is superb right by the towpath to walk into town or the other way up to the horseshoe falls.
Don't be put off by what may be perceived to be a lack of toilets/showers, yes there may be less than on some sites, however they are kept in tip top condition and we had no complaints at all.
We will definitely return!

This adults only campsite is situated next to the canal and only a short walk from the wonderful little town of Langollen.
The owners are friendly and the toilets are modern and clean (although the cubicles are on the small side).
It's also dog friendly. However, all of the vans/caravans are very close together.
In some places the awnings are almost touching. While we had a bigger space up on the hardcore, our initial thoughts were, "not the best pitch we ever had, this is like staying in car park".
We saw some vans with only a small verge of grass to park on.
We'd definitely recommend River Bank Cafe and castle Burger.
