Excellent small site with good, clean facilities.
Very convenient for short stroll into LLangollen centre via road or canal towpath and also for walking in this lovely area.
Site warden was very friendly and had great advice to give.
Really enjoyed our short stay and will definitely be back in the future.

Firstly Angie keeps the site beautifully clean and it is 10 minutes walk from Llangollen BUT I would not recommend this site for a motorhome.
The website is completely untrue - there is no wifi, no laundry facilities, no dog facilities etc.
Getting over the steep hump backed bridge scraped the bottom of ours ( and many others) vehicle!
The site is virtually full of rather shabby seasonal caravans which are squashed together.
There are only 3-5 touring pitches and we were up on concrete which was not really very pleasant.
After 2 nights we moved to a better place.
I have absolutely no criticism of Angie and her husband, they are very friendly and helpful and do a great job but this campsite is nothing like it’s website.

We received a friendly welcome to this Llangollen site which has a lovely location by the canal and is just on the edge of the town.
The toilet facilities were modest but relatively new and very clean.
Recommended.

Lovely stay while attending the Llangollen International Eistedfodd. Site perfectly situated close to the main entrance- we could hear the performances from our van!
Right next to the canal & less than a mile to walk along it into town where there are plenty of shops, pubs & places to eat. Lovely canal walks in either direction.
Quiet site for adults only. Excellent shower & toilet facilities, small but modern & spotlessly clean.
Friendly site wardens checked to make sure we were settled in.
Could do with a sign on the main road or details online about how to find the site, we had trouble just relying on the satnav & ending up having to ring for directions.

Excellent site, made very welcome by site Warden Angie.
Showers and toilets immaculate shame no washing machine
Perhaps a small fault, each pitch could have water taps, especially for the motor homes

Just returned home from a couple of nights Penddol.
It is a little gem of a site, Angie the owner made us very welcome.
In all it was perfect for us, dog friendly, adults only.
The facilities were very clean. Only a short walk along the towpath into town. We will use this site again.
The only downside for me was the Town of Llangollen I remember the town in it's glory. It sadly another victim of urban decay, I used to marvel at the hotels they were so stately.

Small site, perhaps slightly tight on space.
Great location, as you have immediate access to canal walk into Llangollen or opposite way to Horseshoe Falls.
Very friendly owners and superbly clean toilet with single shower.
Enjoyable stay of 1 night.

On arriving we were greeted by Angie who gave us a choice of pitches, we took a corner plot with amazing views of the autumnal welsh mountains.
The Site is quaint with 2 toilets and a shower for the gents and ladies and there’s also a disabled shower/ toilet.
Just a short walk along the canal and you are in Llangollen village, with lots of places to eat and drink. Everyone was very friendly and welcomed our 2 little dogs in all of the shops and pubs !.
We will definitely be returning to Penddol, it’s perfect in every way and such a lovely little hidden gem. Thankyou Angie and hopefully see you soon x
