Another visit and just as good as last time.

There is an addition of an off road path away from the road down to the junction for the village /pub - great as makes a good safe walk.

Everything else is still first class, can't recommend enough.

Other than that, same as previous review. Perfectly placed for exploring North Wales.

Loved this site. Relatively new, just over 3 years old its a couple miles outside Ruthin.

First thing to mention is toilets and showers have been upgraded. New blocks with 5 loos and 4 showers in womens and same in men's. A dog wash outside and a pot wash too.

There is a large enclosed field for dogs to run in. It has well cut grass as does the field next to that children use for ball games and running around.

All pitches are level and cut into banks. Some have wooden surrounds and big enough for a car / caravan or motorhome and awning. Then there are enormous pitches on the circle for car/caravan /awning - both completely on hardstanding.

Top of site has large grass pitches.

The cafe is popular all day, small shop sells frozen meals, fresh bread, ice cream and lots of biscuits, oils etc. Another small fancy good /gift and craft shop next to it.

You need transport as it's not great road to walk on. You can book for the bus to pick you up from site.

Lastly staff and service perfect. Bacon rolls and coffee from cafe delivered to your pitch.

Can't fault this site and will be back soon.

Mixed feelings about this site. Its got nice countryside views from all the pitches and is well looked after. There is a small shop and cafe at the entrance which sells really nice food.

The pitches are large and mostly hard standing, dug into the hillside with a grassy bank all round.

No grass area to sit out on our pitch, unless we sat on top of the bank which gave no privacy.

Two unisex shower rooms in metal sheds, perfectly usable but the shower was very cramped.

Not sure how the facilities would cope if the site was full. It could also benefit from another water tap and we couldn't see any recycling bins.

The owner and cafe staff were really friendly.

The site is easy to get to and close to plenty of places of interest.

Lovely site with fantastic views wherever you are on the site.

Really friendly owners, our daughter who was camping ( we were in a Motorhome ) couldn’t make it as they had car problems. My husband went to explain and was going to pay as it wasn’t the sites fault the pitch wasn’t used, but the lady owner would no take any payment, which we thought was very kind of her.

The whole site is well maintained rubbish bins emptied everyday. We will def be back.

Have given 8/ 10 for site facilities only because the toilets and showers are like temporary buildings, however they where spotlessly clean.

2nd time at site, again lovely welcome. Good hardstanding pitch with nice sunset views.

Really nice and peaceful site to chill out.

Walked to nearby village pub Three Pigeons Inn, 25 mins via short cut through 2 fields, otherwise about 40mins.

Nothing to dislike, will be visiting again in the future.

Great value for money.

Excellent caravan park! Very clean, good location and lovely views of welsh countryside.

Sara is an exceptional lady who cleans the facilities every morning and will help in any way she can.

There is a large dog field to walk and play with dogs, also a large field for general play/walks etc. Our awning blew over our van in a sudden storm and Sara and her husband both came out to check people were okay but helped us out when they saw the situation. She even went to the post office for me when my now fiancés engagement ring came in (im a wheelchair user but also was in her car).

Will definitely go back to this lovely park. She said they are adding disabled facilities and a small shop to sell essentials.

Thanks Sara for saving the proposal!
