 We just got back from this site and did find it a relaxing break,
The owners are very friendly and look after the site wonderfully,
The site is set out very logically with loads of hard-standing everyone with its own electric hookup,
There are 2 water taps in the middle, there is a separate dog field to allow them to have a run around,
The only gripe really was the toilet block although spotless they are unisex and only two, they are small portacabins with toilet/ shower combined this didn't really affect us as by Monday we were the only caravan on the site,
Locally there is a pub but you need to drive and any shopping you need to go to Ruthin about 5 miles away,
We used the site as a base as there is no other facilities,
Llangholen was about 15 miles away

We stayed here last weekend in our caravan along with other friends and we all had a wonderful time.
Lovely clean and tidy new site with fabulous views of the Vale of Clwyd.
Its a family owned camp site with friendly owners.
Lovely and clean toilet & shower facilities, the shower was especially good. Toilets, water and waste points easily accessible from any pitch on the park.
Plenty to do locally and very conveniently sited on the main road just outside Ruthin. We will be returning soon.
