 Wonderfully peaceful site.

Even from walking in the area, you'd not know the site is there, it's a hidden gem. Tucked behind a barn, it's a sight to behold with wonderful sea views.

The site is very well maintained and well looked after, we were very impressed.

It's not obvious it's on a working farm and any farm noise certainly isn't heard. And there's the added bonus of home made delicious ice cream for sale.

Winner winner of a site, lovely walks direct from site, great views and so lovely and quiet.

Highly recommend.

A wonderful campsite in a very scenic location.

Great welcome with good instructions on arrival.

Nice to have a 'family friendly' field and a 'quiet' field depending on your preference.

Wonderful views and lovely and peaceful.

Toilet and shower blocks super clean and good facilities all round.

Would definitely stay again.

This was our first time camping and feel we chose a great site to trial it.

Toilet blocks and shower area was spacious and in the main clean.

There was a separate laundry and washing up area which I thought was good even though didn’t use.

I liked there was a field mainly for families and a quiet field for those without children.

Lovely to go down to the shore and walk to local cafe and pub for food. We enjoyed our experience.

It was quiet and shame it’s no music so possibly a bit too quiet.

I would return but just for 1 night again

Perfect get away especially with young children, not strict on ball games (tent field only, plenty of room for rounders away from disturbing other campers)

The beach is a 2 minute cut through, brilliant for crab hunting.

The wardens were more than accommodating, and very flexible with allowing visitors, visitors can park by your tent for only £5 extra.

 Beautiful view out to sea.

Lots of space around the van, very well kept site.

Toilets and showers very good.

Welcoming and helpful site staff.

Easy walk to Silverdale.

Buses and trains were convenient.

Some sloping pitches.

The site was excellent, and the facilities were good, staff were helpful and friendly.

One problem though was that there was always constant noise, of either the man on his sit on mower going through the site, or strimming the grass verges, when they didn't seem to need strimming, or the grass wasn't long enough to need cutting.

Excellent well maintained site with nothing too much trouble for the wardens and staff.

No digital tv signal on site due to location but that is mitigated by free wifi on site with a strong signal.

Plenty of dog walks nearby but please check for ticks if taking your pet through the woodland trails adjoining the campsite and beach area as on returning home I have had to remove in excess of 30 of the critters from my dog!

The local beach is mostly shingle and rocky with mud rather than any sand.

We spent 4 nights at this campsite over the May Day bank holiday, arriving on the Thursday before the busy weekend. Once again, we found an immaculate site and a friendly, efficient welcome. The grass was short and the whole field was well maintained. We were able to pitch and enjoy an early evening walk along the coast before returning to the tent to watch the sun set - bliss.

The toilet block was up to its usual high stand - spotlessly clean with plenty of hot water in the free showers.

A freezer has been added to the washing up room since our last visit in 2022, for freezing ice packs. This is great for the campers without electricity, like us.

The bank holiday was busy with families, most of whom were there, like us, to enjoy the peace and beauty of the site. It was great to see children enjoying the outdoors and playing well without a computer game in sight! A group who found it difficult to stick to the 'no music' rule were politely dealt with by the warden, which was helpful.

The purpose of our visit was to do the cross-bay walk from Arnside to Grange, led by the official guide, Michael. We got the train from Silverdale and had a wonderful day, with great weather as we walked over the sands and waded through the water to Grange, where we got the train back from Silverdale. Well worth looking online for opportunities to do it.

As always, we loved our stay at Gibraltar Farm and we will be back!

Loved this campsite, my partner and I stayed here when we were passing through from the Buttermere.

The staff were brilliant nothing was too much trouble.

The facilities were super clean! And it’s a massive sun trap near the sea.

We have tried to book on since but you need to book, well in advance.

What can I say we just loved it there.

It is a beautiful area and a wonderful campsite.

Being woken up in the morning by birdsong and bleating sheep.

Watching the animals (cows and sheep) in the meadows right next to the campsite and looking out over Morcamb Bay.

Simply brilliant.
