 Small, spacious, well kept site with great outlook (view of mountains) and friendly wardens.
Super clean toilet/shower block with the best power shower found to date.
Mobile reception fair for EE, non-existent for my husband who has Three. Site Wi-Fi, which was free, range was limited to bays closest to the reception block.
Great little information hut on site with printouts of local walking routes.
Petrol station next door is well stocked with selection of groceries and has little coffee shop which had just opened for the season on our last day. Owners friendly and knowledgeable about local walking routes.
Only place to eat out was the hotel which was a little pricey? (Fish and chips £19) however was happy to pay as good portion size and very tasty.
More places to eat in Gairloch which is a 30min drive away and has a beautiful, long, clean beach.
We had initially only booked for 3 nights but extended daily as the weather was on our side and we were able to go walking. Highly recommend this site

A beautiful setting for a lovely site with the friendliest warden. Ian made us welcome on arrival (no entry barrier or lists of rules) and took an interest in our plans, with advice on the weather and the midges.
He sold a few items at reception and there is a convenient garage/shop/cafe right next door. The modern showers and other facilities are well maintained, with a free drying room for outdoor gear and an indoor washing-up room (it can be wet outside!)
We cycled the single track road along Glen Torridon to Torridon village (2 cafes). You can also walk through the woods to the Benn Eighe Visitor Centre or stroll round Kinlochewe village.
A very peaceful site, well worth more than a night's stopover on the NC500.
WiFi limited and no TV reception. Enjoy the peace!

As said by previous reviews lovely CAMC site with good clean and tidy facilities and piping hot showers.
The site is well broken up into smaller areas. No grass between pitches its all gravel hardstanding so feels a little car-park-ish.
Great idea having the drying room but it was fairly permanently occupied by a tenter (who gave instructions on where things should be placed) so we felt a bit awkward taking coats and boots in and out.
Wardens really friendly and helpful, keep everything immaculately.
We felt a little hemmed in, views of mountains but not much walking unless you are a serious hill walker /climber.
Surprised site less than 50% occupied both nights.

This is another great club site with clean and tidy facilities.
The pitches are in separate little gladed areas and feels smaller than actual size of the site. Really good dog walk.
Amazing views of Beinn Eighe.
Short walk to hotel for evening meals and two small shops, one is friendly the other not so much.
Warden on site is really friendly.
Would recommend if visiting the area.

Very good stay. We had planned to stay 2 nights but our plans changed and we only stayed 1 night.
The welcome was warm and adapted to our needs.
Only the floor of the showers would have to be redone.

Sadly only stopping one night. Great site, fabulous location. Surrounded by majestic mountains, good dog walking.
Larger than expected, felt open and airy. Pitch sizes great, level, didn’t need blocks.
Service points the same as any club site and of good standard.
Local shop and garage next door.
Pitch areas are split up into groups, drive round and pick your spot. Spacious for turning larger vehicles.
Personally. For the best feeling of being ‘in amongst ‘ the mountains and offering the preferred views. Going clockwise, the area to the top right of site was best. Trees and shrubberies divide the areas.
Hard ground pegs required for awnings. There isn’t any grass at most of pitches. It’s nice and sheltered.
Didn’t use facilities, but everywhere was spotless. Great staff.
Keen to go back and spend longer.

Warden on site from 5 pm for new arrivals. It was easy to find a pitch as instructions at reception were easy to follow and bays were clearly marked.
The warden was really friendly and helpful on this camc site. Great food and service at The Stag at the Kinlochewe Hotel, which is a short walk from the site and very popular.
Stunning scenery at Loch Maree and road to Torridon which we cycled (lookout for deer in carpark).

Excellent site and a great base for Torridon and Gairloch.
Site facilities were immaculate and there’s a good shop, garage and hotel/bar right beside the site.
Stunning scenery, walks and water sports! Midges are fierce in the season.

The ideal location for exploring the West of Scotland.
Within easy reach of the balach-na-ba to Applecross and all the other wonderful vistas of this area.
The site was clean and well maintained, with lovely walks from the front gate!
Also has the added bonus of a brilliant garage/shop/cafe next door.

Excellent site with clean well maintained facilities in a beautiful walking area of the Beinn Eighe National Nature Reserve.
A very warm welcome from the staff, coffee shop store and garage close by.
