Brilliant.
Loved this site. The showers were lovely and hot, and like the washing up facilities & toilets kept spotlessly clean.
The setting was superb and you really felt away from the rat race.
Customer service 2nd to none.
Can't recommend highly enough.
Will definitely return.

Site not too crowded and everyone was quiet after 10pm.
Lovely to be able to sit around a fire in the evening.
Showers clean, warm with large shower head.

Great views, spacious site even Bank Holiday August weekend, very welcoming, super quiet overnight.
Super showers with big shower heads and plenty hot water.
Loved having own fire, just bring your bbq to have one in and your own logs.
Few mins drive or cheap taxis into St Ives and plenty of fab beaches around.
Stayed 5 nights abd would love to come again soon :-)

Stayed here for one night. Its about three miles as the crow flies form St Ives so you need to go by car get a Taxi to St Ives.
There was a friendly reception at the Reception when we arrived to check in. There isn't a shop at the site so make sure you have something to eat with you. There was some kind of food being sold form a barn door - but check with Reception.
The showers were very good and clean with free hot water. Three stalls dedicated for Men, and three for Women. There was a washing up area, and you could charge up your phone at Reception.
Clean, good value, site with lots of space - not one of these sites where the pitches are all marked out rectangles with numbers and you are all crammed in close together.

Very welcoming. Nothing too much trouble to arrange with hosts. Extensive & clean facilities.
Wonderful location away from the fray, but easy to access all sites of interest.
A real pleasure to pitch up here, we will recommend & return, such good value for money & a lovely relaxed atmosphere which matched the landscape.
Spring water and a new moon setting over the Cornish hills, romantic ethereal misty days balanced the sun soaked ones, MAGIC!
Thank you for taking such good care of us.

I've got mixed views about this campsite.
Positives:
Bathing, cleansing and dish washing facilities acceptable.
There was a reasonable amount of space, (early September) to pitch tent.
Tap water was certified as proper mineral water.
Woodstoves were allowed.
No dogs were allowed.
Scenic areas, beaches and interesting wildlife relatively close by.
There was a good butcher shop in central St Ives and a reasonably well stocked Tesco in St Ives area.
Negatives:
No WiFi whatsoever.
Poor to none existent mobile phone signal.
The campsite was in a valley, meaning dampness was more prevalent.
Occasional noise nuisance from people using overly loud sound systems at night.
Most of the camping grounds were on a slight slope - making sleeping less enjoyable.

Having arrived just as Storm Ellen was about hit Cornwall I was warned by the owner on arrival to make sure everything was battened down tight. I pitched the Olpro Pop-up tent against the far hedge and checked out the facilities. I was relieved to find every thing spotlessly clean with plenty of anti virus products around with clear instructions to maintain hygiene and social distancing.
The facilities themselves were basic but included plentiful hot showers toilets and washing up locations. The site is pretty flat though with a slight slope in areas but nothing that would make comfort problematic. By the way the Olpro Pop tent survived Storm Ellen and its 60mph winds while a number of others on the site were totally flattened.
Its a very big open site with plenty of space available to choose the ideal pitch and for children - and adults to play. Its located a couple of miles from St Ives with an excellent "locals" pub The Engine Inn a mile away or ten minutes hike across the fields.
Overall a quiet site with basic but good facilities and a friendly atmosphere. Perfect and it is now my go to site when down that end of Cornwall.

Great camping site with everything you could need.
We came here with no idea what to expect and it was more than we could have hoped for.
The location is perfect (10 minute drive and you're in St Ives). The facilities were great and the place never ran out of loo role or soap! If you're looking for aback to basics camping with all of the required facilities, this is the place.
We will be returning.

Stayed at this site for a week. Weather was fab but windy though the grassy partitions helped deflect the worst of it and gave a little privacy. The site overall was very clean and well kept with spotless facilities even though nearly full. The shop had a little of everything and well stocked. There is a central field area where kids can play but no swings etc. There is a path from the top of the site to the dunes and beach which as long as not loaded up like a small packhorse is easily walkable and dog friendly, however beware the beach by the car park at Gwithian is not dog friendly during peak season Please find out as when on the beach there is no way of knowing when you cross the boundary. During the week there are visits from various caterers all of which are of a high quality and well worth a try. Just to finish off the Red River across the road from the entrance is fab, it's friendly tidy good local beverages and the food is of a high quality at reasonable prices. It's also dog friendly.
