I stayed at lower penderleath farm camp site with my girlfriend for 6 nights and must say we really enjoyed it. It's nice and quiet. Stunning views around. Buses go to st. Ives town centre every hour so site location is not a problem at all. Bus stop is just 300 metres from the farm.
Toilets, showers nice and clean. There is a place where you can charge your mobile or laptop etc. The owner really looks after the place and he's a friendly guy.
I'll be back with my family next year for sure. I had a nice time and good rest. Strongly recommend

Weather wasn't the best during our weekend stay, the owner was very helpful and always around if you needed help.
A spacious, quiet site in a good location pretty close to St Ives. Would have preferred if grass would have been cut shorter as our feet were soaked every trip over the field each time we went use toilets etc.
Very windy when we were there, site could be more sheltered if more tree's and bushes/hedging were planted also very dark in evening/night on site with no small guiding lights could easily get lost walking across the fields looking for your tent.
Showers, toilets and washing-up facilities are clean and also free, with freezer supplied to re-freeze your iceblocks.
In all - good value for money.

Spent 4 nights here with my husband and two kids (2 and 11). Fantastic site with a peaceful, friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
Russell (the owner) was always on-hand if needed and the amenities were great (hot, clean showers, washing up areas and toilets)especially for the price! On arrival you can choose your own pitch and and there is loads of space between tents.
When we were there the atmosphere was really friendly and we spent one evening being entertained in the sunshine by a blues singer and his guitar (an impromptu event) which everyone enjoyed, kids and adults alike!
Although we had our car we tended to use the bus service to get into St Ives(1-2 mins walk from site)as it was cheaper than parking and convenient (hourly service).
Will definitely be staying on this site again when we next make the long trip from Durham!

This campsite is simply the best! Owner was very friendly and helpful and the site is a credit to him. The facilities were brilliant free showers which were beautifully clean, toilets and washing up areas were immaculate. The fields have fantastic views and the option to have a campfire is a great idea. The facility to charge your phone and the use of a communal fridge are also a god send.T here is a bus which takes you into St Ives and it runs every hour and is cheaper than trying to park your car down there,St Ives is a very busy place these days and it was lovely to stay somewhere that had peace and tranquillity.Over all we had a great time and the kids loved the freedom also great peace of mind for us knowing the site is safe thanks so much for making our stay a good experience, we will definitely be back.

This is a quiet and basic campsite close to St Ives. An hourly bus service from the Penderleath Campsite in to St Ives is a short walk away.
The site has two clean (free) showers with constant hot water and the toilet block is cleaned daily and loo roll is provided. The shower room has two plug sockets. The camp site office has a fridge freezer and plug sockets for charging mobiles/laptops.
The site has stunning views of the surrounding countryside and is a short walk away through public footpaths from The Tinners Arms. On our stay it did get a little windy!

This place is idyllic - everything you want for a comfortable camping trip and nothing more. No annoying built-up areas or shops, just beautiful scenery, free choice of spots, strong and hot water in the showers and washing up area, decent toilets that flush properly and best of all, being allowed to have a proper campfire (after all, it isn't camping otherwise!).
The two large fields are beautiful, looking out over rolling countryside and nearby hills. The night we were there I saw the brightest stars and the clearest Milky Way ever. Run by a really friendly guy with very reasonable rates. A short drive from St Ives and Penzance. We will come again if we're ever back in the region.

Me & my dad loved this campsite & enjoyed the beautiful walks to St Ives & Penzance & around the surrounding areas. We enjoyed many evenings around the camp fire with the owner Russel Rogers who we now class as a friend.
Russel was always on hand & nearby to help with anything that you needed. All the water on this site is mineral water even in the showers which is great.
The two showers were clean but timing was needed to be able to get one at times. The biggest problem by miles were the slugs which were constantly on our tent leaving stains & in our boots & shoes.

We arrived late on Monday evening and there were many great spots available to pitch. Despite being holidays the site wasn't packed, as there are two huge fields to pick your spot.
The location of the site means a car is a must. Being so close to St Ives and the north Cornwall coastal road made it very easy to get around and see everything. Or you could turn right down the 3311 and be in Penzance in 20 minutes, which was another beautiful drive.
The site is basic which was perfect for my wife an I. That meant there wasn't loads of families with kids running around all night.
The toilets, showers and wash up facilities are top notch and very clean. There were only two showers which meant timing was key to not having to queue.
Russell was always on hand to give any help and advice about the surrounding areas and had his finger on the pulse for what was happening on the roads, which was a great help.
This site had everything we would want for a quiet couple of nights camping as a couple. We got around the entire peninsular with no problems, ate at some lovely pubs and had a great time.
I cannot fault this lovely campsite and we will definitely be going back.

Please note, this site is nothing to do with Penderleath Caravan & Camping Park, which is a different campsite, and has it's own listing
