Great hostess, great campsite, great location, simply. Great!

If you don't like being quiet, nor friendly and don't like walking then don't frequent the campsite! Perfect for us.

Absolutely loved it. I chose this site as I wanted quiet whilst on my own, then for when my family joined me. I felt safe on my own, it was very quiet and peaceful and in a great location.

The site was kept well, the owner was very friendly and helpful. Only allows a small number of bookings at once which kept the stay peaceful. The only sounds at night was the wind and the waves on the coast. Great to watch the sunset, some shops a small drive a way, nice local pub 1 mile away (walk up a hill).

Great location for the coastal path, 1 hour walk to Westward Ho! on the coastal path. 5 minutes to the pebble beach (very quiet one) and great location to drive to Appledore, Bude, Closely and Bideford.

Easy to find and I will definitely be back next year as I love the area. I just hope they don't spoil the quiet, peaceful site in the future.

Luckily my Sat Nav was able to easily find Greencliff farm and on arriving it was set with an amazing back drop of the cliffs and sea. Sarah was very warm in her welcome and gave us a tour of the options for setting up our tent and the facilities.

The options for setting up where a field, a small type meadow and what we called the fruit orchard. All have views of the sea and being in a small tent we decided on the fruit orchard.

On site there are 2 toilets which are kept amazingly clean, a shower, and two kitchen type basins in a block with a drinking water tap. All very simple and impressively clean. There were no obvious power points but am sure the owner would have allowed the use of a plug to charge a phone etc. Also there is no 3g signal with Vodafone so gives you the chance to switch off!

The owners only allow a maximum of 10 groups on the site which keeps it nice and personal and also allows you a good amount of privacy and space.

In the area there is lots to visit with Barnstaple the nearest big town, Westward ho! the surfers paradise full of cafe's and bars and Covelly the heritage village to the south. Was a little disappointed with availability of local places to have breakfast with Westward Ho! the nearest option without going further afield.

There are plenty of places to walk, hike, cycle and enjoy yourself.

We really enjoyed ourselves and will definitely return when we next go to North Devon.

I had a lovely weekend here this month whilst camping solo, and will be going back with family soon.

The field is pretty level with wonderful views from some parts. The toilet and shower were clean and the owners were very friendly and helpful.

The access road is narrow, like a lot of Devon roads, but there was a big motorhome on site during my visit so it is perfectly accessible. The site, and the local roads, are very quiet (my visit was before school holidays) and if you are looking for a good, well maintained site in North Devon I would strongly recommend this site.

Just spent 6 nights at this great site waking up to fabulous views across the bay each morning. The site was a little soggy in places in heavy rain but the large amount of space more than made up for any damp patches. Within hours hard core had been placed to ensure vehicular access.

The beaches at the Northam burrows were great and safe for our 5 year old and the ample space on the site meant that her and the other children had plenty of space to play.

The owner was more than accommodating with finding us space to plug in a cool box.

The facilities whilst basic were always clean and the shower hot.

This site is a great family site and excellent value for money. The site was full of families with children playing but was always quiet by 9pm.

The only slight concern are the narrow Devon roads to get there.

Two great supermarkets close by and The Big Sheep is worth a visit.

We stayed here for one night to air out our canvas tent, we were greeted by the owner, very nice gentleman.

The ehu was in actual fact an extension reel that ran from the barn to wherever you wanted to pitch, so even those without ehu hook up can use it (at an extra £2 a night)

Parking was £1 (which we found strange)

However, the site is kept clean and well maintained, There is only one shower cubicle in the toilet area, and dishwashing is done in the sink in there too.

Lovely area and scenery, right near the coast, ample spacious pitches.

Idyllic, breathtaking, relaxing, stunning views. Just many words I can use to describe this site. This site is just a credit to camping. We stayed here with our children last weekend. What a great holiday we had! The Dr was very helpful and made sure that we were well catered for! It has two toilets a shower and 4 hook ups in the barn with a washing machine for your use at a charge. The site has space for 5 caravans and there are fields surrounding that during our stay had cattle in. Our children thoroughly enjoyed this site and they were able to run freely. The site overlooks the sea in the distant which you can access via a walkway up the lane. It is a rocky path and not for the infirm. Leading up to the site you travel up two very narrow lanes which you do feel you may not make it but you do. It may just be the width of your caravan but you will get it to the farm. The turning space in the yard is tight and we did end up unhooking our van and turning and reattaching to our car in the end to make it an easier turn. If you like peaceful relaxing basic camping this site is for you truly back to beautiful nature! We shall be returning to this site again as our whole family did not want to come home it really was a fabulous little gem of a site.

This quiet certified campsite on a working family run farm provided the venue for the best holiday in Devon we have ever had. We had a warm welcome from the charming farmer and like all the pitches had a wonderful sea view across Bideford Bay incorporating Clovelly village, Hartland Point and Lundy Island, perfect to experience the spectacular sunsets. The farm has it's own beach accessed directly via the coastal path which is on the farmland. Our children loved the rock pools and catching prawns, and we saw lobsters and Bass caught by other campers. We are particularly interested in birdwatching and saw at least 25 species on our first day. The coastal path provided sightings of a pair of Black Grouse and the sounds of the Grasshopper Warbler. A bonus was the free range eggs, homemade jams and local honey available from the farm house. We have made a booking for the summer 2012 and can't wait to return to this peaceful and relaxing venue.

We have just come back from a 10 night stay, its £10 per night on hook up too. We stayed in the small field near the farmhouse, its the one in the photo. Its surrounded by hedges so you don't notice the wind, but it the main field its very open and it blows off the sea. The toilets and shower are cleaned everyday and sinks to wash up in. The site itself is lovely and the farmers nice as well. If you are towing a caravan you have drive through an open gate and its very tight, you cant do it in 1 go. Its about 10 mins down to the pebbly beach and it very quiet, great if you got dogs. The main beach is westward ho 3 miles away. Its a lovely beach great for the kids, just check on the tide times because the beach is completely covered at high tide.
