This site was ideal for us (mum, dad and three kids 8, 5 and 3). If you are looking for a site that is now like little meadow used to be before it became a 'cool' campsite, look no further.
The facilities are basic but are very clean and look like they have recently been given a lick of paint to spruce them up a bit. There are two toilets, one (WC and large washbasin) attached to the farm house and the main toilet in the camping field. The main toilet also houses the washing-up point and shower and if someone is using any one of those facilities, the rest are basically off limits. That was never a problem as the site is very small and numbers limited. We never had to queue for the toilet and simply took showers when the opportunity arose.
As for washing up, that can wait, or you could use your own bowl. The shower runs hot and is free. The electrics run off standard domestic 240v outlets, so make sure you take a 3 pin adapter for your extension cable.
The Dr is an absolute gentleman and regularly pops into the camping field to check that everybody is OK and give weather updates to any campers who ask. There looked to us to be 5, possibly 6 at a push, pitches in the main camping field. There is space for another 2 or three tents in the orchard and in July / August I understand that the Dr also allows upto 5 tents in to the adjoining field. The site is already fully booked for July and August 2010. It seems that word has already got out about this site! we will most definitely be returning to this site, assuming it isn't booked up!

This is a gem of a site. When we arrived, as with everything in that part of the world, it was boggy. We were moved behind some large trees as it was forecast to be 'a bit windy' how my tent didn't blow away I will never know! That said once the wind calms down and its not raining the views are great and Dr Hunt is very nice keeps the shower and toilet clean, these are both in the same area as the washing up area which can be a little awkward! There is a private beach 5 mins walk away, that apparently you can surf on, unless your a professional I would avoid it! The site is lovely but if you are in a tent make sure you pitch in the orchard or by the barn to avoid the worst of the wind!
