This is an excellent campsite, which we used as a 4 night stopover on our way south.
The site has spacious pitches, 3 toilet blocks, a swimming pool and children's play area. The facilities are clean and well maintained with plenty of hot water.
There's a small convenience Carrefour in the town centre, and large supermarkets on the outskirts.
We enjoyed exploring the town, and the nearby lake and leisure facilities. We also went to le Lude, a lovely town nearby with a chateau that was well worth visiting.
There are cycle routes all

This is a lovely municipal site which is very well kept. Staff on reception speak English.
We tend to visit out of season so haven't used the pool and only 1 toilet block is open. However it is spotless and warm.
We used ACSI and paid €16. 10pn including tax (slightly higher then the book said but more than worth it).
There is free WiFi but it dropped out frequently and you had to put the code in each time which was frustrating.
We visited the Wednesday morning Market which is great and walked to la Monnnerie Park.

Wonderful location by the river and across from the picturesque town. Mixture of larger and smaller plots for all types of camper.
Toilets and washing facilities are cleaned regularly.
Swimming pool is clean. Great value for money. Lovely area with a lake side beach nearby

Well-located and very pleasant municipal; friendly, English-speaking staff.
Level grass pitches that are generous in size and most have shade.
There are some glamping units, sanitaires look like they have been recently refurbished and are spotlessly clean. Nice little pool, tennis court, kids activities in season.
Pedestrian access to the town via keypad gate, boulangerie and bar a few minutes walk away; very smart restaurant just over the bridge. Plenty of supermarkets in easy driving distance. You can order bread on-site in the peak season and they have food trucks on some nights.
Good access to lots of cycling routes, including along the Loir to a lake beach. Lots of attractions in the area including the zoo, and food trucks on site in peak season. Just a stopover for us but worth a longer stay; a goos starting point for the Loire valley.

Loved this site. We were given a pitch at the far end of the site, where the pitches were much bigger than those nearer reception.
Clean and modern washblock. Easy walk across the bridge to town. Very picturesque.

This is a lovely well kept municipal site. After a warm welcome we were given a huge pitch which overlooked the town. The river Loir runs between the camp site & the town & there is a gate that leads from the camp site into the town which is very handy. It is only a short distance to walk into the town. There is a large market held on a Wednesday.
The toilet & shower facilities were very clean, modern & well kept with toilet paper in each cubicle. There was also soap, hand dryers & hair dryers. There is a pool, & the usual play equipment for children.
You can buy fresh bread each morning & a different food van eg fouee, pizza, burgers & frites, comes in the evening if you don’t want to cook.
La Fleche zoo is not far away & well worth a visit, we were lucky enough to see the grizzly bears, Arctic wolf, white lion & polar bear amongst many other animals kept in a lovely environment.
All in all this is a very well run camp site with very friendly staff & very well priced, less than 18 euros a night with 10 amp electricity, including tourist tax. We would be very happy to return.

Recent visit one very hot day in mid July. No pre-booking made.
We arrived on spec' knowing it was a large site of about 185 places.
Thankfully this proved to be not a problem and the lovely staff offered us our choice of pitch and explained all the facilities and directions to the town.
The pool was great for a cooling dunk but way to hectic at this time of year for relaxing or swimming as children were not supervised or restrained in any way by staff nor parents!
There's tennis courts and pin-pong and three amenity blocks with showers and laundry facilities of a decent standard.
They also had a free solar charging point for mobile phones and a very good pitch-specific Wifi system which was also FREE.
A bakery visited each morning with their fresh bread and pastries and there was a free to use freezer and TV room.
Amazing value for such quality facilities and very centrally located.
A very short walk over the river bridge to the pretty town for a good selection of bars and bistros.

Rather annoyed that hitherto we had by-passed this site.
Every thing the previous reviewers have stated is spot on.
There is now free wifi and the signal and speed were perfectly adequate.
Because of the park like layout of the site, shade can be at a premium.
A tip: The sanitaires are clean and well maintained but the central block can get a bit crowded. There is a new block, tucked away in the corner by the gate into town and hidden by large luxuriant flower beds. It is much better.
We definitely will use again. Those facilities at such low prices make it impossible to ignore

We had spotted this site from across the river last year and assumed that it must be expensive due to it's location and space. - how wrong we were.
We used it as a stop-over going to and returning from Royan area but plan to stay for longer in the future. I cant remember the exact price but it was some way south of €20 including hook-up in August. Our pitches were large and bordered by hedges with a water point nearby.
The toilets were modern and spotless and the small pool area was lovely too.
La Flèche seems a lovely town and there is a Carrefour Express a 5 minute walk from the campsite or a larger L'Eclerc hypermarket a mile or so away by bike or car.
Opposite L'Eclerc you will find a country park with man made swimming lake and beach. Lots of cycling and cycle paths in the area.
The site had a mix of overnighters, longer holiday makers, rentals and a few seasonal pitches.
We would highly recommend this site for either a stop over or longer stay.
