Lovely quiet site with basic serviceable facilities.

Owner is very helpful and approachable.

Charges have increased due to rising electric costs. We paid £25 p/n & if a shower was required then an extra £3. 50 was required. So a little costly in our opinion.

Good location for touring the Antrim coast, Giants Causeway & Belfast if you are prepared for driving to reach these locations.

Absolutely wonderful place. The owner was a lovely gentleman who made me feel like nothing was too much trouble.

Fresh eggs available on site. Theres also a community room a small museum and lots of little nooks and rooms.

Short walk to shop, post office and even an "everyone welcome" community garden with fresh veg and herbs and a sensory section too all nearby.

Close to the gibbons.

I didn't use the facilities available but there was a shower ect on site if needed. A truly wonderful start to my holiday.

I will be back

Overall a nice site in a good location. Ideal as a first stop after travelling over on the ferry.

Facilities were ok, a bit dated. Didn't use the showers so can't comment. Spar shop nearby and the visitor centre (and cafe) for the Gobbins which is well worth a visit.

In fact it's a superb walk and well worth the money. One gripe is that you need to watch where you tread on site. Were the owners dogs responsible or visitors; who knows.

There wasn't a lot but you only need to tread in one to get that sinking feeling.

Setting was perfect for arriving off the evening ferry into Belfast.

Lovely site, friendly dogs and lots different fowl. Eggs available.

5 mins to the train for Belfast and a short walk to The Gibbons.

We'll stocked just up the road.

Would definitely return.

OK for an overnighter from the Larne ferry, about 7 miles away, but we found it to be too small and cramped for our large caravan. Also could not get Sky tv on our pitch which was near the entrance. Ask for a pitch at the far end if this is important. The access road is also a bit narrow.

There doesn't seem to be anywhere to walk the dog, we really struggled to find somewhere. In fact, Northern Ireland seems to be very lacking in footpaths compared to mainland UK.

The owners are very friendly, but the above points have put us off from returning which we were meant to be for 3 nights. Now going to a CL near Lough Neagh.

To the owners a big thank you for making our stay so good. Very friendly and helpful.

This site is ideal if using the Larne /Cairnryan P.O ferries, easy to travel to and welcoming if on a late arriving ferry.

The site overlooks the inlet and is quiet and well managed. A community room with table, chairs, settees and a TV is provided if you want to leave your van or tent.

Mace and Spar shops are available in the village a matter of a couple of hundred yards away with hot fresh foods cooked on the premises.

We spent 3 nights on our arrival then returned on our last night before catching the ferry home. So many places to visit from here even to Mount Stewart and Portaferry. Will return if age and health permit.

This was our first stop on our first visit to northern Ireland and a lovely warm welcoming we got at this small quaint. Cl it was a wet windy night but the owner offered to assist us to our pitch and help us set up. This site is prefect for a first stop if your touring, mainly because of the short distance from Belfast ferry ports, so peaceful, and then to open the blinds in the morning was a most wonderful view of larne lough and the hills behind was breath taking. Very clean facilities on this site, train station only 10 minutes away and a very well stocked shop a few minutes walk, would have liked to have stayed longer but on a tour. Would highly recommend this site.

This is a lovely site with very welcoming owners. The facilities are also good for a CL site. You have a lovely view from the site and it is quite close to the local shop etc.

I did like the geese, ducks and hens (we have some of our own) however, as we have young children, I don't like the fact that they roam free around the site. Kids will be kids falling over and then putting their hands in their mouths.

Although this is a CL site and is meant to limited to 5 vans, there were more than 5 vans every night we were there. There is plenty of room for this and it didn't particularly bother me but may annoy other people.

A welcoming pack was given to us on arrival giving lots of details about the local area etc.

Overall, still an excellent CL site and well worth a visit.

We stayed at this little gem of a site for a weekend and really enjoyed it. It is a Caravan Club CL site so you must be a member to stay here.

The site itself is behind a working farm and has some really spectacular views. The facilities were very clean and they had a TV room available for guest use. There are picnic tables situated round the site and the farm sells fresh eggs along with seasonal produce.

There is a small supermmarket / post office with hot takeaway food a short walk away and the Rinka with its homemade ice cream (well worth the walk) is just a little bit further.

It is an ideal base to explore the surrounding area being close to Larne, Whitehead (home of the Steam Railway Preservation Society), Carrickfergus and Belfast. You can walk to the train halt at Ballycarry and take the train to any of these destinations if you rather someone else does the driving.

I have no hesitation in recommending this site. We will certainly be using it in future in preference to Carnfunnock Country Park when staying in this area.
