Stayed a couple of nights here. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Nice views over the loch, the train line is on the other side of the bay and can be heard from the site, although it's not intrusive and they seemed to stop fairly early in the evening. We were treated to geese, ducks and turkeys wandering about in the morning. The owner was happy to have our youngest help him out and spent time answering his questions about the farm. This CL is one I'd return to if we were in the area again.

We have stayed at this site several times and have never been disappointed. The owners are so friendly and really try to help visitors enjoy their stay. They provide a folder to use during your stay with leaflets, bus and train times.
It is about 10 minutes drive to Larne and the port so is great when getting a lunchtime ferry we have also driven from here into Belfast port without any trouble either,
Children will love the ducks and hens running around the site and the animals which are in fields on the farm.
The toilets are in an outbuilding but always clean with plenty of toilet rolls, soap etc. There is a visitors room with settees, a wood burning stove for wet and cold nights especially if in a tent.
You would be advised to book in advance as it is a CL and therefore numbers are limited.
We visit in a campervan and one of the attractions is being able to get the train into Belfast. These run frequently and the station is about 10-15 minutes walk. There is a local shop which is really friendly and has most things you may require.
The view is over the estuary and there are lots of birds to watch.
The guide to reviews mentions constructive criticism however I really can't think of anything.
