 Stayed for one night in September. 3 in MH and I friend in a tent.
Very basic site but with some rustic charm.
Facilities not great but adequate.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Long Itchington is a fabulous place for ale - two pubs currently in the Good Beer Guide and two others doing very high quality beer as well. A good night!

I had just arrived from a long day on the bike on my own with a small tent.
It was a nice enough flat grassy field, and all I wanted was a shower and a sleep.
The night cost me £10.50, which I was prepared to pay in anticipation of some decent facilities.
When I was faced with a 50p charge for the shower I was frankly insulted.

Ok; well I wasn't too sure where to start this review! We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of our touring holiday so perhaps we were a little bit 'camped out' or had been spoilt by the previous site we stayed on.
The first thing to say is - you get what you pay for! This site is certainly budget and depending on your point of view is either a bargain of a camping gem or your worst nightmare. Everybody is different!
So without trying to give an opinion I will endeavour to stick to the facts and you can decide for yourself:
The owner is incredibly friendly, welcoming and laid back.
You can book breakfast from the B&B they also run.
There are donkeys next door and a pond with ducks to admire.
There are 2 different toilet facilities - one is a raised up portacabin affair accessed via steps. In the ladies there were 2 sinks; only one had taps. Toilet seats were missing on at least one of the toilets. Apparently in the mens there were basins and no taps.
Other toilet block - a wooden facility with step-free access. Ladies toilet - doors do not lock. Lights seem to work on a sensor but only when it's dark. The lights went out on me and left me in the dark - clearly I was taking too long so remembered my torch the next time.
Apparently my father in law discovered that one of the toilets in the mens block was not screwed down as it tipped over when sat upon.
Drinking water tap - has a hose attached to it which lives down the back of the draining board to the washing up sink. No hot water.
There are showers which run on 50p coins which have warm water. Light is on a sensor.
You can pitch where you like.
They appear to accommodate large groups. We arrived back on last night to find a large group had pitched in a circle complete with mini marquee and bouncy castle. Again depending on your perspective this is either a great thing (hooray I can book a party) or your worst nightmare (hang on, I came here for a bit of peace and quiet).
There was a big pile of rubbish stacked near the toilet block. I don't know how often this is collected.
An eclectic mix of 'things' around the site. Appears to be a mobile bar, remote control cars and an old play slide. There are car boot sales every Weds.
Lots of pubs within walking distance.
Easy drive to Warwick Castle, Kenilworth Castle, Stratford-Upon-Avon and the Cotswolds.
Easy to find site; little bit of road noise but nothing too bad.
We paid £30. 50 for our pitch for 3 nights (family of 5)non EHU.

A nice family campsite with a really friendly helpful owner. A good flat well drained field meant there was lots of space for games even with about a dozen other pitches. We paid £10. 50 per night for tent, car and 4 people. There was a small fishing lake which we didn't use. There is a playground and some radio controlled cars but I didn't see them in use and they looked a little tired. Young children will love the ducks and donkeys. The facilities are adequate but slightly old. The campsite is next to a field which has a car boot sale on Wednesdays. This is a fairly basic campsite but that is what we like. There is a sink for washing up but you need to heat your own water.
The site is quite close to the A423 which you can hear but wasn't very busy. Lots of good walks nearby on the Grand Union canal. The campsite is on the edge of Long Ichington which is a lovely village to explore.

Fantastic site for a short stay, friendly owner, level field with Own choice of pitch, we chose a site next to a picnic table and open fire box. Had a lovely open fire barbie and marshmallow feast! other campers very friendly. Shower is 50p and if you have a fear of spiders you would have a problem. Kids loved the donkeys and ducks and the ice cream van that visited ! overall an excellent site for the money

The campsite is in a great location, with 6 pubs within walking distance. The facilities are very limited, with only one shower and only cold water for hand washing and washing up. They also appear very tired and in need of a refresh, with some locks on toilet doors not working.
We went on what was tipped to be a wet weekend, and it was clear that the ground was already struggling before it rained, with large puddles and swampy ground, particularly in the well trodden areas around the toilet block.
The owners by all accounts (I did not meet them personally but other members in my group did) were incredibly helpful and friendly.
One word of warning however, is that there does not seem to be any limits on who is permitted to camp. It is advertised as a family friendly campsite (we had two young children with us) however there were some very large groups on site, and one in particular of about 20 people in their late 20s who played music, sang, shouted and smoked weed until 4am in the morning. Of course not all groups are like that, but there appeared to be no checks by the owners, and they seem very happy to book large groups.

We stayed here this weekend as part of an organised group who regularly camp together.
We arrived and spotted our group and pitched up. We headed to the house to pay. To do so, we had to pass the toilets and showers, although if they hadn't been pointed out to us we would have known what they were from the strong urine smell emanating.
The owners were incredibly helpful, and pleasant.
During the hot weekend neither toilets or showers were cleaned, loo roll ran out by Saturday afternoon and on Sunday afternoon had still not been replaced.
The only water tap on site had a dirty hose attached, which dragged on the muddy floor outside the toilets. We bought bottled water.
Site is cheap at a tenner a night, and is close to a lovely village, stunning walks and great pubs. So, if you have your own loo and showers, this is a great site. If not, avoid at all costs unless you don't mind dirty, smelly toilets and very little care given to the site.
Such a shame that the facilities let this site down, it'd be a lovely little site otherwise.

Just been to Marton Rd for a 5 day break! Booked hard standing pitch, was offered choice of pitches including a grass pitch as forecast was very good for duration. Owner very friendly and helpful, told us local eateries and recommend any of the 6 pubs in the village.
Site is large field with pond to one side, have various livestock. Very level pitches.
They have a portacabin toilet block and also a wooden built one, both of usable condition and checked regularly. Showers 50p, daughter said they were great!,
Dogs welcomed on site and allowed off lead if well behaved, ours ran free throughout stay.
Excellent location to visit leamington spa or Coventry. Or walk into village for great pubs or stroll along the canal. Fab! Highly recommend!

Great place to stay owners make you most welcome there are 6 pubs in village all within 10 minute walk. If you want a relaxing weekend break this is the place. Shop & dinner also nice walks along the canal. Site has toilets &shower basic field flat. Bean going there for last 7years at least 6 times a year 5 of the pubs do food each one as a different menu and real ale. There is a park over the road so if your looking for a weekend break give it a go

Just spent 2 nights at Marton Road Farm. After having reservations about the recent downpours. We needn't of worried our pitch was still firm
The site is basic and contains 2 toilet blocks with showers and are kept to a good standard of cleanliness.
Nearby is the quaint village of Long Itchington which has various pub/restaurants.
Would go back again.
