We stayed at Marton Road Farm for our first ever caravan trip. As advised by friends it is quiet, relaxed and easy to manoeuvre round when you are starting out.

Basic but quiet (except for donkey's first thing in the morning!)and clean. Kids loved just being able to run around and having plenty of room for ball games. Bbqs allowed. Owner very friendly.

We didn't need toilet or shower blocks but these are currently being updated, will be even better then.TV and mobile signal not great. Only had one night so didn't have time to explore the village, but will def go back for a weekend soon.

Just spent a night at this site (£12 per night with electric) and found it to be very quiet and clean. The owner was very helpful - providing us an extension for the AC as the nearest hookups were used. At the moment the toilets are very basic, but they are being worked on ready for May - not a problem for us as we used our onboard systems.

A small village with 7 pubs! Only managed the Duck this visit but had a great meal and drink. Looking forward to the next visit

Given a little time for the toilets to be updated, this will be a fantastic site, but for a quiet, no fuss break, it was ideal

We used the site for 1 night to try out our new-to-us campervan. The flat site is perfect for those who like a friendly, peaceful, idylic rural location complete with donkeys, chickens and ducks, and don't need hot water or shower blocks.

The current facilities are very basic, but the owner showed us the new toilet block and drained caravan/motorhome area which should be ready for next year. Very relaxed atmosphere, with no rigid rules or arrow straight lines of caravans! We didn't have any problem with road noise despite parking on that side of the site.

Village is a very easy walk (even to the furthest pub) and with the canal, duck pond, myriad old houses, six pubs, a good Co-op and a diner should have enough for anyone! The Harvester at lunchtime was more like a cafe, or a European bar/restaurant, than a pub but none the worse for that. Excellent beer, excellent food, outstanding value, and friendly welcome made up for a slight lack of atmosphere.

The Two Boats has a great canalside loction, but the early evening welcome for us and other non locals was less than friendly. The food was perhaps 2/10. May have been an off night but that's how we,(and the party at the next table) found it. Sunday lunch at the very busy Duck and Bell was a bit disappointing, great menu but poor execution, and indifferent service.

Overall, a great place to stay for a short break, and we will certainly be back next year, but the lack of hot water/showers etc would put us off from staying longer than 2-3 nights.

Just spend 3 nights here. We knew in advance about the facilities (or lack of) so were not bothered that it doesn't have large toilet blocks, showers etc. We just wanted a relaxing weekend.

Great location for just pottering around the village, also the disused railway line and the canal.

We tried the four pubs in the village (the two by the canal were too busy when we went). Food in the Buck and Bell was excellent and the friendliness of the staff in all four was great.

Road noise was not noticeable after visiting the pubs though !

Will definitely be back here.

This is a very basic campsite but perfect if you just want to get the children out of the house for a few days and feel like you're a million miles away. The campsite is in a quiet little field out the back of a lovely little village. There are even donkeys which certainly help keep the children entertained (and the adults!) The local village has a great pub and reasonable for food too! there is also a playground to walk the children to. There are no shower facilities here but toilets are clean enough. Will happily go back again just to enjoy the quiet and relation of being away.

Great, if basic, site that has plenty of room for kids to run off steam. Toilets and washing facilities are available but no showers.

The main village is only a short walk and has all the pubs that you could need. For great food that is excellent value try The Harvester

There is also a well stocked CO-OP for all your essentials.

We visited this site for the weekend with our two boys (9/5). Owners really friendly, didn't need elec so could camp anywhere. The site is real camping and managed fine with just washing facilities for the weekend. Friendly farm dog who loved to play and Donkeys, a lovely family site, I felt the kids were welcomed without lots of rules and regs everywhere.

The village is within walking distance, with a play area, 6 pubs! and a Co-op that has everything you should need.

Arrived and due to it being a busy weekend was greeted in the car park with a warm welcome and information on where to camp, the facilities and beer festival. Realised that as camper there were no shower blocks! Should of realised by the site stating 'Washing facilities'. The washing facilities are a large portacabin toilet with cold running water.

However, if that doesn't deter you and you are in fact a hardened camper then the pitch is fairly even, no set out areas, pitch up where you want and it is very relaxed. The village is lovely 6 pubs all within walking distance of the site. The furthest being a 15-20 minute walk, the nearest a 5 minute walk.

Other towns are very near Southam 5 minute drive and leamington 15 minute drive.
