We enjoyed our stay here. It is a lovely setting in amongst trees, different sectioned areas. It was safe for our young kids, nice park but also space for them too.T oilets and showers fine, we had no problems. Staff friendly.Nice wee shop/reception. Only word of warning. We seen tents get flooded out(rainy time of it though) Caravans were ok. The inside of awning was JUST habitable! Staff helpful. It was nice down by the river. We found a little sandy bit that amused the kids for quite a while, sitting playing and pottering. We would return to this site.

C&C Club site at Scone is quite large and quiet beautiful it is well spaced out and well protected by many tall mature trees. The staff on site was very helpful as ever with all the club sites. We were camping with a large family tent, the pitches were flat grassy spacious, and easy for pegging the lines. Shop on site and local shops are all within a few miles, the location is very quite with plenty of local wildlife. The site is ideal for walking, dog walking, fly fishing in the River Tay for £2 from site office. Weather was very windy and showery when we were there, but the site is very well sheltered with its trees from these elements which really helps. As with several other C&C club sites the shower toilet block etc is looking a little tired now, and could be refreshed, there were ample facilities and kept very clean. The Hot water could have been a bit hotter (did have a boiler problem when we were there) Also the usual with all sites, an inexpensive item never enough hooks in the shower cubicles. When we were there a local event was being held at the Perth horse racecourse, so the tanoy was heard quite loud as it being so close to the site. It was only for one day and we visited the event anyway. We choose this time not to have electric hook up and got a really good pitch alongside other friendly folk in Tents and motor home. Generally most people on site were in Caravans so if we wanted a pitch with electric hook up would have been with all the caravans. There is a small play park for the kids and enough of an area to kick a ball if wanted, for the dog plenty of walks for his constitutionals. Certainly will return and recommend this site to others who seek the more rural quieter sites.

Nice level site, with lots of well kept grass. Fairly small and it was very quiet while we were there. Plenty of toilet and shower facilities which are getting a bit old and shabby but they are clean and well maintained (although a broken boiler did shut the block closest to us on our second night there). The games/rec room is pretty basic but would be welcome on a wet day. The outdoor play area is a swing frame and a slide but our girls seemed content enough with that. The wardens were friendly and available and did try to help to fix a problem with our caravan. The onsite shop was basic but had all the essentials and the bread buns were great! Site is surrounded by arable land and trees with the race course on one side. Perth is just three miles away and offers plenty of restaurants/shops/ activities. Quarry Woodland walks just outside of Perth are worth a look if you are disabled or have a pushchair as it is mostly quite level and smooth going.

We couldn't find the site to begin with, but stumbled across it on the Perth Racecourse car park So, if you're travelling to it follow the signs for Scone Palace, once you've passed the palace follow the signs for the racecourse, get onto the car park and there's the entrance on the right hand side. Phew! Once we got onto the site we were amazed at how lovely it was, surrounded by trees, with a small playpark, a games room with full sized table tennis table and tv, and clean facilities. There is a lovely walk from the entrance down to the river Tay where you can sit and watch the river go by or skim stones with the kids. The nearest shop (other than the small shop onsite) is at Scone about 1 mile away where there are also takeaways, banks, petrol station, but bear in mind that you're also ony about 1 1/2 miles away from Perth itself. Will definitely be going back to this site, it was lovely and quiet at night (except for race night) with no road noise at all. The kids happily rode their bikes in safety and had adventures in the trees. The staff were all very friendly as were our 'neighbours' onsite!
