Second visit to this site. Was made very welcome on arrival by Nigel and the other site staff. Very friendly and informative.
Had a lovely Super Pitch right next to the reception but had no issues with it being busy with footfall around us.
Site is on the Perth racecourse grounds with Scone Palace in the distance. The Palace have stopped people from the site being able to walk up the short cut to the palace, as we did on our previous visit, so we walked out of the site ( about 20 mins to get out onto the main road). The bus stop is here for Perth.
We continued walking and missed the entrance opposite the bus stop that says Tradesmens entrance to Scone Palace. We had been informed that you can use this entrance as another short cut. But we went the long way round and it was 2. 5 miles. Nice walk but would shave off maybe 1. 5 miles through the Tradesmens entrance.
Scone Palace is beautiful and well worth a visit. Steeped in history with the famous Stone Of Scone used for king and queen coronations. There is a 10% discount for customers from the campsite.
We came back the short cut!
Shame that the restaurant/pub/ hotel right next to the campsite is closed to the public. The owner told me that he was tied in to a three year contract with the local workmen who are currently building a by pass next to the site. He will only cater for them during their stay and for the jockeys and trainers on race days. Shame that he is missing out on potential business in-between with people at the campsite.
Short bus ride into Perth. Nice city. Worth a days visit. Can highly recommend Effies restaurant/tearoom. A Victorian style eaterie. Very quaint. Excellent food.

A very clean and tidy site, good facilities friendly staff ideal place to use as base for Perthshire area.
Good pub hotel next door with a limited menu at the time but friendly staff and decent costs for drink and food.
Dogs allowed in beer garden and bar area. Located at Perth race course so really busy on race days.
Definitely visit again.

Very pleasant welcome on arrival and clear instructions on how to get booked in.
Shown to pitch in person. Leaflet lacked a site plan to explain where facilities were

Stopped 2 nights to visit Perth races, next door!
Great site, but although it's on the Scone Palace estate you can't walk to the Palace easily.
Worth the drive though.

Nice flat CCC site surrounded by trees and nicely laid out. We were offered a selection of pitches; very helpful and friendly site crew.
Good facilities (still only one black waste point) with drive-over MH waste.
Right next to Perth Race Course where you can get a meal and a short walk to the river Tay along a green lane. Next door to Scone Palace but probably better to drive rather than walk, and just a few miles out of Perth.

Excellent quite large site with excellent facilities spotlessly clean and tidy.
Good spot for exploring the area as you can go north without having to go through Perth but is handy for all the supermarkets.
Site staff were friendly and helpful.

We found this site quite easily, despite a satnav error for the postcode.
We were made welcome by the people in charge, who were both dedicated to the maintenance of the site. They were a credit for the cleanliness of facilities.
The site is 3. 5 miles from the centre of Perth, so we used our bikes and that we ask enough if you use the pavement along the whole route.
The toilets and washing facilities were all good, and never seemed too crowded.
Enjoyed our stay here.

Easy to find and access. Easy to check in with really friendly and helpful staff. We were on a generous sized, level hard standing. Good 16amp EHU which all looked modern and well maintained.
There is a superb toilet and shower block with plenty of facilities, kept immaculately clean and nice and warm. There is a room with all the local information you could require and there are also a couple of tables and kiddy colouring activities.
There is a good walk down to the river and Scone Palace is nearby. For the best prices you need to be a member of the CCC and if you are it is excellent value.

One thing to note is the speed camera the Police are hot to trot and care is required, the Race Course was open and a great day was had, but no money to me.
The traffic is busy on those days and if going out remember to return when the race is still going.
There is a village of new Scone a Mile away with all the shops for your stay if required
