Arrived and pitched up and pleasingly not issued with a huge list of rules.
Lovely views across the bay from the tent field unusual for tenters to have the best pitches.
Although the site was full the toilets and showers (Included in the price) were always clean and available.
The grass was cut short which I think is good for camping as it dries out quicker after the morning dew. Covered washing up sinks Laundry and Freezer for ice blocks or food.
The village is just a short stroll down hill where you will find a pub, hotel, paper shop, small but adequate Spar, bakery and Chip shop all in a lovely setting soon to be complemented with a new built visitors centre, believe me these facilities are excellent compared with some more remote campsites in the area.
All in all a great stay, one small down side the site is exposed to the wind make sure your well strapped down a small price to pay for the view,

We have just visited this site, picked at random and booked last minute. We had a lovely time. The owner was fantastic, very helpful, as we had wrong hook up wire, ( he lent us one, we are new to campervan holidaying ) the site was very clean, toilets and showers clean. Very family friendly but quite at night so slept well.
Only one little problem was the steep hill but if we were fitter would not have been a problem.
Not many chooses to eat, spar well stock and lovely fresh bread. Lovey ice cream shop.
Lovely part of Wales! Very welsh.
Very relaxing break

Stayed here mid june, with some friends. Whilst the location and camp site were fantastic, we must have picked the windiest weekend of the year. Weather aside the toilet/ shower facilities were very clean and looked new. Very friendly owner who was always about to help etc. Surrounding area is fantastic - took a drive to nearby abersoch which was just like being on holiday abroad. The village of aberdaron itself was very nice and it have a stunning beach. Minus the wind this was a great weekend. Will be returning to this site in the near future.

This is the second time we have stayed at Dwyros - what a lovely little site. We tend to camp as a group of 8+ female-only friends and immediately get stereotyped into a bunch of very noisy ladies (which we are not) from most other sites. Most sites don't take groups, however, Dwyros was great - they accepted us on the site straight away. The site is very well priced and the toilets and showers are perfectly adequate.
The surrounding area is absolutely gorgeous - amazing views from the site overlooking Aberdaron and the sea. We camp there as we go surfing to nearby Hells Mouth beach (about 15-20 minutes drive away). There are a few nice pubs down the hill too (5 minutes walk - longer on the way back as the hill is steep, especially after a few!).
The only down side is the high winds. When putting our tent up it was made very difficult by the wind (as the site is quite high up). When the wind does die down, the site is amazing. We had some wonderful weather May bank holiday and was brilliant sat relaxing with a BBQ admiring the wonderful views this site offers. Unfortunately for us, each time we have taken the tent down it has been torrential wind and rain - but we still went back and are planning to again!
Highly recommended site if you don't mind a bit of wind.

Best site you can imagine
Best views you can imagine
Toilet block as new
Very well priced
The owner always there to help
Aberdaron it is a lovely village
The beach is beautiful
There is plenty to admire, walks along the coast, beach,
Local shops with local specialities at very local (cheap price)
Site is quiet but not restricted in any matter by the owners. Wanna party, you may have it but mind neighbours
Weather may be tricky as it is the coast
Bear in mind there is wisthling sands beach, which is a lovely beach just four miles away
You can't ask for more

We stayed at this site last week in our 2 berth camper for 2 days and thoroughly enjoyed it,
The site is about 5 mins walk from the interesting village of Aberdaron and is in a perfect position for walking the coastal path and for cycling on the quiet country lanes around the coast.
The facilities were good and the atmosphere pleasant, I suppose some may think the walk up to the site from the village a bit steep, but worth it for the views.
We certainly will be returning to further explore this lovely area.

We have just got back from spending 2 nights here, And what a couple of lovely nights they were.
We had never heard of this site and stumbled on it by accident, Really glad we did, The views from our tent were outstanding, looking over the village and the bay.
The owners were really nice and helpful showing us the best area to pitch.
The shower block was very clean and modern, with instant hot water, no more waiting for a shower to warm up,
There was only 2 downsides to this stay, 1 was the short but steepish hill on the way back from the pub, (I ain't no hillwalker, lol) and the other downside, we had to leave.
Will we go back? Hell Yeah!

We didn't expect to find such a nice site, its located at the top of the hill overlooking Aderdaron and the sea. There are fully serviced grass pitchs, electric hook up only grass pitches and tent pitches, Alun the site ownwer provides hook ups for those without.
The showers and toilets are modern and clean.
The village of Aberdaron is about a mile down the steep hill, Spar shop and post office at the bottom, tea rooms, local hotels and souvenir shops as well, the beach is beautiful and clean, dogs are restricted to the side beaches.
The site is very busy during holidays, but very quite when we stayed for 3 nights, can get very windy, will be back next year, one of the best priced sites in the area.
