As first time campers we found the site excellent!. The staff couldn't be more helpful. The pitches are a good size and the facilities were very clean and well maintained throughout the day. Nice little shop if you need anything well stocked. Childrens play area is large and there is also a little games room for the older ones!. Would use again and recommend to anyone with or without children.

We have just returned from a 4 night stay. It was our 1st camping trip . The site was fantastic, immaculate facilities, great disabled toilet / shower room. The shops were very well stocked and they had a take away which we didn't try, but the menu looked good and reasonably priced. The wardens were very helpful, and delivered a full size fridge to our pitch which we had hired. The play area was very good and kept the kids amused, but the downside was that we were pitched right next to it and some kids were still playing, screaming and shining lights in it up until 11 pm on some nights, which made it very hard to settle my kids down. Overall an excellent site, would definitely go again.

Very well organised site with excellent facilities and a fantastic playground for the kids. A couple of things we noticed while we were there - There are communal fridges and freezers in the dish washing room in the new block which was useful for keeping milk etc cool. (Bring a marker pen to label your stuff). Also, I felt sorry for the people on the pitches next to the gravel path leading to the toilets. It was 'crunch crunch crunch' all night long so try and avoid these if you can. 9/10

Just got back from my third visit to Honeybridge was most disappointed. When we arrived on site we were shown to our pitch by a young lad who told us exactly where we should pitch. We were pitched far too close to our neighbours, as we lay in our tent we listened to them talk to 2am. They were not talking particular loud we were just too close to them, unfortunately they used the very small hedge that divided the pitch as a toilet, which sounded as if they were weeing up against the tent. We thought by paying for an expensive site £25 a night (for 2 adults , 3 children a very small tent and a gazebo) we thought somebody would have walked around the site between 11-12 at night to check everything was OK, they used to. The last straw was Sunday morning at 7.15am when there was no toilet roll anywhere in the ladies to be found. I had to wonder across the park to find a park attendant to rectify the situation. This used to be a good clean site, but with lack of cleanliness and attention to the toilets and the ever-increasing charges for different things, we will not be returning.

We've just returned from a weeks stay here. Undoubtedly there are lots of good things about this site which people have already covered, however I would just like to add a few comments. This site has schizophrenia. Midweek it was quiet and virtually empty. Weekends it's full of groups of campers and kids having a whale of a time, is very noisy and goes on till late (3am in one case). The wardens are friendly but I can't say I saw any attempts to settle the site when 11pm came round. Apparently it's like this the whole time during school holidays. If hustle, chaos and noise isn't your thing ask for a pitch round the edge of the east field when you book - you'll still be able to get some peace and quiet (unlike us, we ended up in the middle by the playground.)

Great site - spent last weekend here. Quality facilities & site in great condition. Pitched right opposite the children's play area, which was great for my two kids - who ran themselves ragged. Toilets/showers were superb. Really cannot find anything negative to say about this site. Go there

We are new to camping and this is the first site we visited and I think we were really spoilt! Excellent facilities, nice clean toilet, shower block and nice well equipped shop with nice take away. Children's area kept my two boys busy. Hope all campsites are as good as this!

We have just got back from our visit and I can say that it was very, very nice. We arrived late (after a last-minute booking) but the staff were very friendly and so helpful. Play area for the children is excellent, shop is brilliantly stocked, toilets and showers so clean and warm. We will be visiting again and taking our friends with us!

Excellent campsite for families who want the woodland and not the highlife, they stand no truck from rowdy campers / caravaners. The utilities are kept extremely clean and tidy, showers, Baths! family room, all in all all you could possibly want. Food from take away is excellent, cooked as you order, not hanging around for ages. prices in shop are very reasonable. Pitches are mostly level. Very helpful and courteous. had a wonderful weekend here. Will definitely return! They do New Years Eve as well!

This is the best campsite I've used in 11 years and I'm fussy so praise like this is well-earned ! The site was busy (BH Weekend) but really clean and calm, and well monitored by the Wardens - who did actually operate a noise curfew of 11pm which is great when you've got 2 young children who need their sleep.
The toilets and showers were spotless and we never queued. The shop was the best I've seen , you could easily have bought a week's shop there plus they did toys games and camping eqpt . There was a lovely central play area and the whole site had a friendly relaxed feel .
It's a shame we only live half an hour away but we will definitely use it again for a relaxing weekend with friends !
