May 2004 A great campsite with excellent shower and toilet facilities. The whole site was really clean and well maintained. In the dishwashing area there are fridge and freezer facilities where you can store your own food. Lovely park for the children.
Tip; If you've got children ask to be pitched in the field with the park as it is in view of all the pitches in this field. Great for the kids to play and adults to relax. In this field you also get less traffic noise from the A24.
A great little site and well worth a visit.

August Bank Holiday 2003 Just returned from a great weekend at Honeybridge.
We have only been going camping for 2 years and have visited some 8 different parks. Of those Honeybridge was by far the best.
There are 3 fields - the central one has a great play area where our 6 year old daughter wore herself out each day. The other 2 have the amenity blocks in (one was 2 weeks old at time of visit but even the other one is more than adequate compared to some we have had to use). The park is well maintained and the stewards are friendly and not officious. I like the idea of being allocated a pitch - much better in my mind than the Forstry Commission Free For All. And those pitch sizes are adequate.
There is a dual carriageway which is close to the West field. We were in the central one and we could hear it but only in the distance and it did not stop us dropping off for a peaceful sleep.
There is an excellent pub/restaurant (The Fountain) within 4/5 miles of country lanes and lots to do in the surrounding area.
All in all a very good experience and one we hope to repeat early next year.

July 2003 After driving around Dorking/Boxhill for 2 hours looking for a site that doesn't really exist, we drove down the A24 looking for the next campsite. Honeybridge was the site we found. It was at this stage about 9pm but they still let us on when we explained our nightmare. Small but beautiful site. Very well stocked shop (even sell BBQ's and patio heaters). Clean well maintained toilets and showers. New toilet block/games room being built as we speak. Didn't like being allocated a pitch, we like the freedom to pitch where we want. Didn't appreciate being told to turn our radio down on a Sunday night when everyone else had gone home. Who were we disturbing? Good play area for kids even though it does seem quite hectic in the day/evening with tents pitched close by. We were "put" in the other field which, in my humble opinion, is the better field (more quiet) however the play area field is very handy for watching your kids from the comfort of your tent/caravan. The dual carriageway is not that close to the site as previously said, but turn the other way out of the park and there is lovely quiet country lanes to walk/cycle.

July 2002 Having recently had a dreadful experience at well known New Forest campsite (torential rain, mud upto our ankles and our brand new tent covered in mess from the forest floor!), my husband and I decided to try a site closer to home (in Sussex). We booked a last minute pitch at Honeybridge Park, but with them not being on the internet we didn't know what to expect.
We were greeted by extremely friendly staff, but there was one problem...it was raining!
We went ahead and set up the tent and within 1.5 hours we were sitting down, completely organinsed, cup of tea in hand...and the sun came out!
The toilet and shower block was adequate and clean, with heating and mops on hand to help those using it keep it clean. The on site shop was well stocked with supplies and there was a gas exchange on site, should it be required. A good sized, enclosed room for washing up also housed a fridge for campers and freezer for free freezing of ice packs and there was also a washing machine.
The actual park itself was beautifully maintained, with flower beds in abundance and a herb garden for campers to help themselves to. The dog walking area, to our surprise was a small wood just over the road from the site, just big enough for dogs to sniff out the wildlife and kids to get nice and grubby!
The evening was lovely and we sat outside until nearly midnight, listening to the quiet buzz of other campers enjoying the summer evening.
We awoke the next morning to brilliant sunshine and our son busting to go over to the brilliant kids play area. We saw little of him that day, which was handy as it gave plenty of time to pack up at our leisure. We weren't required to leave site until 2pm, which meant that we didn't have to rush and the whole experience was relaxing and refreshing and the sun continued to shine the whole weekend!
The pitch sizes are generous (our tent is 12 berth!) and are not too regimented in the center of the park. It is far away from traffic noise and very close to a lovely garden center.
We were so impressed with Honeybridge that we have been back again and intend to visit as often as we can. The whole feel of the park is lovely. Not too large, plenty for the kids to do and the owners really seem to have the needs of the camper and caravaner thought out. Centrally sited in Sussex, it is an ideal base for the longer stay or brilliant for a quiet weekend break.
