Stayed here many times over the last few years its a little run down but cheap and cheerful plenty of room never crowded. Disappointed this year to find the fees had gone up by £4 a night to £14 (new owners) nothing had changed to merit this much increase.

The only down side to this campsite was the grass that was cut and not cleared and therefore got into everything. Found this site fantastic for me and the kids, vshop has what you need, club was noisy on saturday but then they did have a karaoke going, went quiet around 11 though.

Our touring caravan remained in Whitewell from Easter until the beginning of October for the season. I thoroughly enjoyed my summer here. The site is almost upon the Pembrokeshire coast path and also a short walk from the beautiful Lydstep Beach. A bus for Tenby stops right outside the site.
The site is totally unspoiled with three large fields, so there is plenty of space with no need for one tent or caravan on top of the other There is a feeling of being in the countryside yet close to the beach. There are cows, sheep and horses in the next fields. Plenty of different birds for the bird watcher. The shop is open at peak holiday time, but there is a supermarket open at all times within walking distance.

Been to this site for a few days. Owner very plesant and helpful. A very few rules so relaxing. Handy for beach, Bus stop at park gate for Tenby. Showers and toilets dated but kept clean. Seperate field for those with dogs liked that idea. 10 pound a night in August good value

August 2003 Went to this site after a last minute let-down. To be honest it was the only one I could get at the last minute.
The site has 3 camping fields, one has electric hook-up in half of it, one allows dogs and the one we were in seemed to be mainly tents and camper vans. The field we were in was fairly level but was next to the main road, it wasn't really a problem. After a few drinks I seemed to go completely deaf anyway.
The facilities on site are NOT new and were not the best we have experienced. There were 3 showers for the men and 3 for the women. I had to clear the blocked shower base before I used it (with a twig from a bush outside). The toilets were a bit dirty, but that was caused by some of the dirty people using them. There is an on-site bar (which sells food, but we didn't try any) and a games room. There is also a small shop which was pretty bare really and opened very erratically. They have a small play area for the kids which is basically falling apart.
The main good point about this site was that it was quite central for touring and it only cost £10.00 per night. Also there was a lot of room for the kids to run about and play.
There is a really nice beach just a short walk away across an adjacent field. If you go in the day you have to pay £3.00 for parking as it is via a holiday park. They have a brilliant play area for the kids.
One tip if you want to park in Tenby itself, park in the lower car park at South Beach it only costs £1.00 for the day and is right next to the beach. The upper car park charges £2.00 for the day and you have to walk down a steep hill to get to the beach.
It may sound like I have moaned about this place but in fact we had a really great time there and kept increasing the length of our stay.
We would certainly go again.
