My family stayed here for the weekend on our first camping trip and it was lovely. We pitched at the bottom near to the duckpond and my two year old loved watching the ducks and geese and there's also some farm animals which were a big hit. Although it was all fenced off, the gap between the farm gates was large enough for her to squeeze through so that was a constant worry. The toilets were always clean and the shower was free and hot and perfectly ok. The warden was very friendly and chatty and it was nice to know he was around. We didn't actually see the little shop open which was a pity but the warden offers an ice-pack freezing service for a small fee which was really helpful. All-in-all we thought this was a lovely little campsite especially with it being fairly quiet as it is only April! I'm sure we'll be back again sometime.

We have just got home from a 2 night stay, we found this campsite great value for money very lovely and very friendly. The site is well planned out (with numbered pitches for caravans) you can choose your own pitch for a tent. We put our tent up at the far end of the campsite next to the duck pond, it was great to see all the ducks and geese walking round our tent, my daughter loved the farm animals and the lovely walk up to the fishing lake. The people at the site was very friendly and my daughter made lots of friends, the warrden is always on hand to help out with any problems or to just have a good chat with. The showers and toilets are clean but basic, the shower was wonderful with hot water and just like a power shower( if you turn the dial all the way round) great washing up sinks. We didnt see the farm shop open which was a shame and there was a small bit of traffic noise but the ducks soon took that away!all in all a very good campsite for familys we are booking to go again next week!

This was my families first stay at this site and our first camping trip since I was a boy. We stayed here for one week. It is definately a good site for those one a first trip. This is a very nice site with all round good facilities. I stayed with my family in tents we had two pitches towards the bottom of the main site. Although electric hookup is available we did not use it, maybe next time. The hookup pitches are numbered and are a good size. When we stayed here there was a wide range of accommodation types using the site and the site accommodated them well, even some from abroad. Because of the time of year we stayed (Sept) the shop didn't seem to open much but it did provide the basics, although it was better going to one of the three super markets nearby (some a short drive away) all three being very large providing you with everything you need. The local chip shop was nice and the little market at the Langley centre was also good. The area itself is not far from Eastbourne which has good shopping. The site is very clean and well looked after by the Warden who was friendly but firm on the rules of the site, particularly dogs on a lead. The farm section of the site is very nice, my 3 year old loved it and has not stopped talking about all the different animals, although the goat 'George' is a bit intimidating. Be warned the ducks and chickens will come around your pitch, we even caught one inside our tent, but we had great fun getting it out, we had a daily visits by 30+ birds which we would feed. Whilst we were there one of the pigs gave birth, the farm owners were quick to go and take care of these animals, which proves it is all well looked after for those animal lovers out there. This site also has a fishing lake and although we didn't fish it the area was very peaceful. One down side for me would be if I go again and I was to be placed in the over spill field which, from the looks of it, didn't have any facilities and is quite a distance from the toilets, showers etc. The washing up facilities were good as are the toilets. Before I booked this site I visited many others in and around the area and this sites facilities seemed to be the best. We only had one complaint. Behind the site was some construction work or builders yard and they do make a lot of noise in the early evenings and some early mornings when the lorries return and go out / load up. The warden told us that they normally stop working at 11pm which they did. Signs had been put up by the site warning people of the noise from this area. We will definately make a return visit to this site which in a nutshell is a small friendly, well maintained, clean place to stay. Oh and George, the goat, is really a big softy. I would say that out of all those I looked at this site was the best and was reasonably priced.

We stayed here before a couple of times, the last time being 3 years ago. It was as clean and tidy as before. The pitches are of a good size and are actually marked out and numbered which is a great idea. The washing up area has 4 sinks and is undercover and has very hot running water too. The toilet/showers are very dated and could do with modernising to keep up with the modern clean looking site. The gents toilet area smelled like a public toilet my hubby informed me, which is not a nice thought ! They were cleaned at regular intervals though and never appeared dirty. The on site warden was always available if there was a problem and he dealt with any problems straight away. This campsite was the most expensive out of all the 5 sites we visited in August, I do feel that you are paying for the warden, and the facilities are no different of that of a cheaper site. The small farm area is a nice asset to this site and the kids love to walk round and look at the animals. It is nice to be able to read about the animals, and know a bit about them from the signs. The site would benefit from some evening lighting around, as dog walking at night was very difficult as the main areas were not lit up. The wardens cabin sold a few essentials (milk etc.) and also had for sale odd camping equipment (windbreaks, awnings, steps etc.) this is a good idea. The local chippy is within walking distance and as good as ever ! We had to try the famous 'ELVIS' again (battered Mars bar) and it was a lot nicer than the first time we tried it ! We will be back again that's for sure !

Having just returned from a stay at this site. Very pleasant clean site, areas marked with good sized pitches. Plenty of hot water, ladies / mens had three shower cubicules, which is about the same as most sites. Could do with a light above the washing up facilities, but plenty of room and hot water. Rubbish had to be taken to the bins opposite the wardens hut, but this was a little confusing at first as there were no signs. Had some lovely farm animals, and lots of geese ducks etc. Nice walk up to river where fishing is allowed. There was a shop selling very basic supplies, milk bread own sausages and bacon, but could do with a few more, and opening hours did get a little confusing. Train station few minutes walk , easy access into Eastbourne, and local areas Not much info available on campsite on buses etc. Only shops in area are: a very good chippy, a post office/newsagents in one, and an antique type shop.ice cream van usually pays a visit about 4 ish onwards which is very nice. A very nice quiet site without all the hassle of a clubhouse, well worth a visit.

This is an absolutely lovely camp site, we have been there around 4 times now and have just booked again. It is quite quiet, but has a really lovely farm and fishing area if you want to fish. The people who run the site are really helpful and friendly, and always willing to help sort out any problems. We will definitely be revisiting this camp site on a regular basis.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We were in a trailer tent with electric hook up and have 2 young children who adored the animals. We were close to the shower / toilet block and drinking water. The facilities were a bit of a trek for campers in the far field. The weather was poor while we were there but the pitches were good. The owners were really nice people and they kept it very clean. The mornings and evenings were a bit manic in the toilet block but if you were around the site take your shower in the middle of the day - it was empty and freshly cleaned! The nights were peaceful too (weather permitting!) We would go back for a short break again.

This was our first camping experience and it was very enjoyable. The campsite is small and friendly and the pond and all the animals are a big hit with small kids. Our kids were happy to feed the ducks, look at the pigs or play with the children from the next door tent. Campsite toilet block was adequate and showers had hot water, although there was usually a queue in the morning. Really good chip shop just down the road, and also Tesco express just 5 min drive, which was great for stocking up on basics. Pevensey beach was great, although pebbles, once it is lowtide there is plenty of sand for the kids to run around. All in all a good trip, and I'm glad we didn't stay at the campsites closer to the beach as some of them are right on the main road - traffic noise must be a problem.

Love it! Not done much camping before, but this site has made me want to do more! It was the first site we visited and they accommodated us. The kids loved the animals and the small fishing lake. They have an overspill field and I can say if you have children this is the best place to be. Lots of room to play games fly kites and generally get away from the hustle a bustle of the main site! It is a walk through the ducks, chickens, Geese's, Horses and pigs but it is a pleasing one! Went back 3 weeks running! Fully booked for the bank holiday so will have to go else where! Will be back next year as Eastbourne has plenty to other.

Stayed for 5 nights on this site. Very well organised and a lot of hard work put in by Tony the warden who was very helpful and friendly. Toilets and showers were basic but always clean and did the job! Location is superb with some friendly animals for the kids to see and feed. Friendly site and well worth a visit.
