Handy site to get to Beverley in East Yorkshire and pretty easy to find. Thoughtfully laid out and very well maintained and secure site. Quiet and peaceful with lots of birds and pheasants as my closest neighbour. Very good value - all level and very spacious hardstanding pitches with hook ups and water points. Didn't have my dog with me this time though looked to be pretty good for dogs with footpaths near the site. Toilet and shower facilities fine. Stayed two nights and it was my first experience of an adult only site. As I was the only person on site this did not make any difference on this occasion. Did not appreciate the rather heterosexual assumption that I was travelling as 'Mr and Mrs' as no mention had been made of any other person when I made the booking. Overall though a pretty nice site and I would revisit.

Oh my god, what a fantastic site especially on the premier pitches, the area you have is massive, and the dogs loved it. The tea rooms on site is lovely, we even got asked if we wanted a bowl of fresh water for the dogs. Waste water, fresh water, electric and tv aerial all on your pitch, the only thing you didn't have on pitch was the chemical waste but that was only about 200 yards walk away. Little woodland walk for the dogs, which is enough for them in the morning and last thing at night, as we went out and about during the day but would have just been as happy staying at the pitch enjoying the peace and quiet and good weather.
The showers and toilet block were clean and tidy, no issues at all with the site or the friendliness and helpfulness. The only observation, and certainly no critiscism is that if all pitches, there are only 12 by the way, you may need to wait for a shower, as there is only one female and one male shower, could do with another one so that there is no waiting for anyone, but apart from that, we give it 11/10, and we will certainly go back and would certainly spend days if not weeks as you have the peaceful surroundings, but also not far to drive to Beverley, York, Leeds if you want shopping, I don't, and about 40 miles from the North Yorkshire Moors, and a spar shop and post office down the road for essentials. Flippin marvellous.

Visited this site during half term, without grandchildren for a change. The site was very well kept and spotlessly clean. We couldn't fault the friendliness of the owners and were made very welcome on arrival. There is a bus stop just outside the entrance which we found useful, as we tend to just park up and leave the van on site. The village is just a short stroll away, and has a post office and general dealers and off licence, so we were ok if we ran out of anything. There's a pub too, although we didn't try it this time! The showers and toilets were very clean and well cared for,and there is plenty of information available in the lounge eg maps, bus timetable etc. A nice tv lounge for anyone who needs it. All in all a lovely peaceful site if you just want to get away from it all. We will be back.

After returning from another stay at this site and paying a further four pounds a night has not been reflected in the amenities on site. The plots are the saving grace and makes the site. However for twenty four pounds a night the toilet facilities for each sex consisted of a shower which is not up to 5 star standard and there were no extra disabled ones. If this site had been full the queue would have been a long one. If the price is going to go up by such an amount then this should reflect in newer facilities. Poor reception for television hookup also exists. In the past we have come because of the pitch standard but disappointed in the level of toilet facilities.

On arrival I was shown to my allocated pitch, this was just as well because left to my own devices I would have assumed it was for 2 or 3 caravans. It was huge! and very private. One of the most peaceful and well kept sites we have ever stayed on. The impression is that the owners take great pride in maintaining high standards and would not tolerate behaviour that is not considerate of fellow campers. The site offers also premium pitches, however we found the standard pitches well above average. Could do to have more than one shower cubicle. We did have a little wait in the morning to use this which we didn't have an issue with but could imagine it may be more of an issue in peak season. But the facilities are spotless. Excellent re-cycling facilities. Fab tea room and choclate shop. Would love to stay longer than a weekend but not far enough away from home. Ideal for weekends. Shame all sites are not up to this standard. Will be returning!

Nice well cared for quiet site set in lovely country side. Located on the outskirts of a small village which has a pub and shop within 5 mins walking distance. Shower/toilet block were adequate and kept nice and clean. Owner very friendly and helpful and there's a canny little tea room on site as well. Quite liked the owners collection of motoring memorabilia. Our cats loved it and we would go there again.

Wonderful site! Warm and welcoming hosts. Fully serviced pitches and first class amenities.Beautifully maintained and secure, entry through gates by keycard. We went for a week and stayed a fortnight. We loved it! Miller's deli and bistro on site for delicious meals and snacks on the days you don't want to cook yourself.
Fantastic meals at the Fergusson Fawsitt Arms in nearby Walkington too.
Good people visiting too, aren't there. Sandra and Peter?

This sites setup is excellent. Well recommended except for the facilities which let the site down. The owner is very welcoming who keeps the area well cared for. It is situated in lovely countryside but again we were disappointed when using the toilet block, If this was improved then the site would be one of the better adult only we go to.
