Super site, but this little gem closes to tourers at the end of the season. If you want to stay here in 2014 you will have to buy a log cabin! Caravans and motor homes still accepted for this year. All facilities are available. Showers and toilets kept nice and clean. TV lounge also has microwave and washing machine. Buses into town from just outside entrance (50p for the dog). Pub in the village is closed on Mondays.

Well what a little gem of a site. Nicely situated in the village of little weighton about 6 miles from Beverley. We have just returned from a weeks stay at this lovely site.
Warm welcome greeted us on arrival and explanations given about the facilities. Electric gates guarded the entrance to the site and a road took us to what I can only describe as a picture postcard area that was stunningly beautiful. Entry was via a key card
Pitching was a bit troublesome as the pitches are on a slight incline. Had we had levelling ramps they may well have been useful, but don't let this put anyone off.
All pitches were fully serviced, with water waste and electricity. Drainage tubing was provided but we did have a problem with our water hook up as the 7. 5 meter hose wasn't long enough. The owner very kindly gave us an extension to loan. We had a large spacious pitch surrounded by trees and bushes and indeed very tranquil.
There is a small dog walking area on site which was great, and plenty of other areas for doggies to be walked nearby.
Toilet facilities consisted of 1 male and 1 female bathroom with shower and toilet and one unisex toilet. Facilities were housed in a lodge where kitchen laundry and tv room were sited. All kept spotless and clean. Only a few pitches were in use when we visited but I dare say if it got busy then there would be queues. On the whole toilets were adequate but not the best. Access to toilets was with a key, which whilst I understand why they were locked was a bit of a pain.
Nearest supermarket was morrisons in Beverley 10-15 minutes away
Lots to do in the area. Beverley was beautiful. One of the nicest towns I have visited. The minister was free to visit and very welcoming to visitors. We also visited Hornsea and the Freeport outlet, hull was different and also a few of the very pretty local villages.
We didn't have great weather but it was temperamental, some rain was very heavy at nit but the pitch coped extremely well with no water logging
There are tea rooms on site as well which have very nice coffee and cakes, I believe they do meals as well but we did not try them
A great site which we hope to visit again

We were taken directly to the site by entering the postcode into the SatNav (enter no4 Rowley Road)
We were welcomed very warmly by the site owner who gave us all the information we needed and showed us to our pitch.
The pitches are very spacious with bushes between each one making them feel very private.
The Toilet and shower facilities were spotless.
The Cafe which is at the entrance to the site, well away from the pitches, served excellent food.
There are plenty of small villages in the local area to visit and the coast is not to far away.
We thoroughly enjoyed our week at the site and will definitely return again.

We have just returned from a weekend on this site and cannot praise the site enough. We booked the premier pitch which at £25 per night is quite cheap when you find out what you are getting for your money. First off entry is via an electronic security gate so you can rest assured your van is safe. The pitch is very large, separated by bushes and the lawns are very well maintained. Each pitch has its own waste water drain, electric hook up, television hook up, and fresh water tap. The shower block is like a hotel because when you open the door the separate shower rooms come with shower, wash basin shaver socket, and toilet, and if that's not enough there is a separate lounge with TV as well a small kitchen for your use.
The owner is a very friendly and very easy to get on with chap who will help you in any way possible. Also on site is the Tea Rooms to which we had our breakfast(which was superb) in what can only be described as a warm but modern cafe with charming décor and a lovely and very welcoming couple who run it.
If you want to go out into the village to eat then the Black Horse gets our vote for the warmth of the owner as well as the food.
Overall anybody wanting a break from the kids but wanting the highest standards then book here.

Stayed on a premier pitch here for the weekend. Found the site very nicely maintained, friendly owners who gave us all the information we needed. The pitches were large with water, electric hook up and waste water drainage for each pitch.
We could not get tv reception as the satellite was blocked by trees but that's our system not the owners fault. The shower facility was really nice, just like a bathroom really with shower cubicle, handbasin and loo; also a wall mounted fan heater.
If the site was full I can see that there could be a bit of a wait for a shower but in the same building is a lounge with books and magazines so you can wait in comfort. All in all a very nice site which we will visit again.

This was our second visit to Croft Park. Both times we received a real warm welcome, and clear directions to our pitch and the facilities.
The first visit we were on a standard pitch which provided a wonderfully large garden area which was quite private. A thoughtfully trimmed hedge accommodated the electrics which kept the whole area neat and tidy. Toilet/shower block was small and a little dated, but none the less kept very clean.
This visit we booked a premier pitch and it was really special! An electronic gate leads through to this area, and there was a beautiful garden area surrounding the pitch, lovely shower/toilet block with a lounge area, should you need to wait for the shower (we never had to). Everything was spotless and very well maintained.
The gardens were also beautifully maintained and the owners very helpful and cheery. There is plenty of information available of local events/pubs etc, anything you can't find, just ask! We have two small dogs and they were welcomed, but obviously must be kept on a lead at all times.
As it is an adult only site we enjoyed real peace and quiet and our only problem was that we didn't have long enough there to relax and enjoy the tranquillity!

Well 2nd year here, to visit family too, but the site was just as good as always, but the only downside is that the tea rooms is closed
The site is still lovely, quiet, and we have had a lovely weekend. The only thing I would have liked better was a hotter shower, this time round every time I had one, the water was on the cooler side of tepid, but apart from that the shower was good, immaculate, and clean.
The standard pitches near the entrance are being turned into pine holiday lodges this year, and if all goes well the adults premier pitches will also have lodges on in the future, which is a shame as this site is idyllic, so we will have to wait and see if we still can get on there in 2011.

This is a review of a standard pitch, and not the premium fully serviced pitches this site has on offer.
Firstly, the reception was very warm and welcoming. After the formalities of payment, we were directed to our pitch. Which was very large. In fact it could be classed as a garden as opposed to a pitch. Our pitch was one of a pair that were hidden from the main site by a nice large hedge.
Electric was via gap in the hedge to the other side - which was no problem as we pitched next to the hedge for some shelter. It may have been a problem if you wanted to pitch at the other side of the 'garden' unless a long extension was used. However, the spot we chose looked out onto the well kept pitch, with a tree, and surrounding border making for a nice view.
Water / waste point was a fair distance, but not to much of a chore.
Only let down on this Adult only site was the 'washblock', which was really only a converted garage. It was very clean, but was a shared facility. Ie two loos side by side - one bloke, one lady and only one shower (which looked pretty clean). No heating, so was a bit chilly, but with our van facilities, it was not needed.
At £17 / night, we thought it was slightly on the expensive side, given the small toilet block, but the quietness and large pitch went some way to offset this. After all it should really be in the CL class, with only 10 vans on the standard pitches and 12 on the Luxury Pitches (where the new facilities and tv room are). But you are paying for the privilege.
All in all a nice quiet Cl type site, let down only by the toilet block.

Lovely site. Spotless clean. Secure with key card entry system. Very friendly and helpful staff - although the rules were a bit strict.
Toilets were clean but with only 2 shower's I would imagine it might get busy.
Pitches were amazing. Absolutely huge. Fully serviced pitch has it's own hose, and waste pipe.
Adult only site so no kids running around on bikes etc. Very relaxing and we even got great weather.
Lovely area for visiting local sites.
Would highly recommend.
