Nice open site site with excellent facilities although let down by TV signal and Wifi. Had to retune the TV signal a few times as it suddenly dropped out and couldn't even get ITV one night.
The following day it was fine and I checked the other vans around me and they all had the same problem. Also had issues with the WiFi speed and dropping out especially in the evenings, hopefully an upgrade is on the cards.
I can understand the previous comments about the wardens, but charm goes a long way but at least they kept the site spotless so no complaints from me.
Lots to do in the surrounding area and the RSPB Bempton Cliffs is worth a visit.

Arrived for our first visit to Bridlington site. Wardens were courteous on arrival, if a little short at times. Was warned about 'the grass', but having read about this in previous reviews, it was no surprise.
To be fair, the site looked extremely well kept and clean as we we looked for a pitch. The first half of the site (which I understand is the original part) had all the hallmarks of a good well run club site, with MH's and Caravans well spaced in little homely cul de sac's.
As we turned into one of these as we thought a pitch was free, another member shouted out ' you cant come in here, its full!'. Okay, so we off we went and found ourselves in what I understand is the newer half. We found a nice neat hardstanding pitch, but it didn't feel right.
We were at the bottom of the field so could look up the site, and we came to realise that it had so much open space between vehicles and caravans, it felt like a half full car park, even when site was nearly full, especially the middle area. Facilities were very good and well presented.
Only other point was that the shop doesn't sell any essentials like milk and bread. Was told to use the Farm shop along the road to Sewerby. When we got there, it was shut (midday Friday), so had to walk towards Bridlington to find a Service Station.
Some great walks along the cliffs to Flamborough Head and to Bridlington. Sewerby Hall is worth a visit for the morning and so is the Ship Inn in Sewerby for a drink. Bus Stop right outside is good with buses every hour.

We found this site a bit bleak.
It's clinical but functional but needs some trees and shrubs to improve the overall feel.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
Lots are very large.

We’d heard great things about this site so wanted to give it a try. We booked a serviced pitch and ended up in the newer area of the site - the warden warned us it would be windy and around 3 degrees colder than the main site and she wasn’t wrong !
Well organised with the new COVID rules as expected and the facilities were always clean. Off lead dog walk which was sufficient for the dogs to have a run around.
The walk into Bridlington is around 3 miles (probably 2 to the outskirts) and the town is a typical seaside one, but with plenty of green spaces along the way.
I expect this is a lovely site when the weather is great.

If you are entering from Sewerby make sure you look out for the Bridlington Motorhome and Caravan site as 100 yards prior on the same side is a CL site which our Sat Nav took us to, there is room to turn round and the owner of that site is very understanding. We arrived just a couple of minutes before 12:00 and joined a short queue awaiting for reception to open; hours are 12:00 to 6:00 p. M
We were greeted with a very warm welcome and shown which of the pitches were free in our category on the map. We selected a full service pitch on the new field and popped back to reception to advise them where we had chosen, they then gave us a pass for the barrier (you only need it for entry).
The pitch sizes are nice and roomy and very well kept. The toilet/shower block is immaculate. We used the washing machine during our stay 4x£1 coins which is pretty average rate for public laundry, it washed a treat.
The reception has a small shop, we actually only used it for ice creams though as all the major supermarkets and a farm shop are close by. There is a good information hut on site with plenty to do in the area.
We brought our cocker spaniel puppy with us, he had a great holiday, having several runs and play sessions with other dogs on the site in the dog walking area (an enclosed area of long grass with several paths cut through)and many beautiful walks in the surrounding area.
We visited Bempton Cliffs RSPB a few times, we were not disappointed we saw an array of sea birds including the beautiful Puffins.
This is simply a great place to come fir a holiday and are pretty sure we will come back!

To Find Site:- On the approach to Bridlington on A164/A165 take the B1255 towards Flamborough. Watch out for Marton Farm Shop and Café on left and entrance to the site is about a couple of hundred metres on the left.
This site is situated about three miles outside of Bridlington and is set back from the Flamborough road. The site is open all year and accepts non-members but not tents. There are currently has 75 pitches all on hardstanding and include a number of serviced pitches. The site is currently being extended which will its double size. ( This work may create some noise from time to time although during our stay any noise was minimal) Electric points are convenient to all pitches and are rated at 16 amps and use CEE17 blue connectors. Electric bollards also have a co-ax TV connection, free to use but you need to provide your own cable. There is currently only one toilet block although this will change when a second block is built as part of the extension. It is of an excellent quality. Service points are dotted around the site. The motorhome service point is adjacent to the toilet block. Unfortunately if still requires heavy steel drain covers to be removed in order to drain grey water waste. For children there is an adventure style playground although it is out of sight of the pitches. There is site wide WiFi which performs reasonably well although at peak periods it can slow. Mobile signal on site is fairly good. There is an information room with local information although a large scale map would be useful. Reception sells a few essentials and newspapers can be ordered. This site also has a storage facility. This is a very good site but my only real gripe was that at £32 a night outside of school holidays it is very expensive.
There is a lot that can be done from this campsite either by your own transport by foot or by public transport. There is an hourly bus service into Bridlington from main road next to the site entrance road. You can walk across the adjacent Golf Course and join the coastal path into town. Likewise you can walk from the site to Sewerby Hall to visit the house and gardens. Further afield there are options for rail services from Bridlington Station to Hull or Scarborough. For shopping there is a Tesco Supermarket next to the station in town. The local taxi service is also reasonably priced.

Just back from this lovely well kept site. Immaculate showers and toilets. Very quiet relaxing site a bit too quiet at times, seems that gone are the days when people sat outside in the evening and chatted. We were on a corner pitch on way to the dog walk. We were facing the door of caravan next door which is unusual especially for cc club. Dog walk area was huge but in my mind grass should be cut short not just walkway and the doggy pooh bin always seemed full. Overall a nice site although quite expensive for mid season. Large pitches with plenty of room for car van and awning.

First stayed at this site shorty after it first opening in 2011; nice to re-visit and see how the vegetation and bushes have matured and softened the site over the years. Hardstanding spacious pitches over three areas of this site with central toilet block. Surprising for a new site the gents toilets only have three WC’s – inadequate for the size of the site. Very friendly wardens and useful information room with a helpful tip that site has an arrangement with the adjacent golf allowing members to access the coastal footpath via the golf course. This avoids a 1 mile walk along the busy B1255 Flamborough Road. The sign at the access to the golf course states there in no access to the coastal path (this is not the case, but it avoid the path being adopted as a public footpath!).
Marton Manor farm is a 10 minute walk from the site and provides very nice afternoon tea for 2 for £ 12. 99. Sewerby Hall and gardens is 1 ½ miles from the site and worth visiting as is Bridlington Priory and The Bayle Museum near the Old Town (3 ½ miles from the site). Crosiers butches in the Old Town supplies excellent quality meat, and the owner is both friendly and helpful.
Bempton Cliffs and the RSPB site located 3 miles North of the site provides a cliff top home for numerous seabirds. Access to the sanctuary is free if you are Caravan Club members and remember to bring your membership card with you.
Flamborough Head is 3 miles East of the site with its old and new lighthouse.
Lots of things to do and see in this area, plenty of quite lanes to cycle on and coastal walks plus for those who like a traditional seaside break Bridlington with its North and South beaches, amusement arcades and numerous fish and chip shops.

Nice friendly wardens got good welcome. Nice site with good sized level pitches, like the layout. Like the radio in wash block (not my taste). Very good dog walk our dog loved having a run. Very good location for Sewerby hall, model village, Rspb Bempton all which are dog friendly. The Ship inn and martonian inn in Sewerby dogs allowed, but our favourite where ship inn and Rose and Crown at Flamborough.
Would recommend site not far to Bridlington, Filey and Scarborough. Good beaches but check where you can take dogs.
Only negative is hairdryer weak and could do with chair in laundry room.
