We stayed for four days here, and this site did not disappoint in any way. The usual high Caravan Club standards are maintained throughout. The facilities are clean, tidy and well maintained.
I think it's part of the job for Wardens to be pleasant but from previous visits to a range of CC sites we've found it's not always the case so don't take it for granted. This site gets it right! All the wardens here were absolutely lovely. They were SO friendly, chatty and happy to help with any queries we had - it makes such a difference to see happy faces in the office and around the site.
On the down side, and this is no fault of the site in particular, it's CC policy that you can't reserve pitches so you have to accept this. I was disappointed when we arrived because I'd reserved a serviced pitch ages ago on the CC booking system but when we arrived (around 2:30 so not late) our pitch was the last one free and from my point of view, the very worst pitch imaginable - smack opposite the toilets and chemical waste unit! Although immaculately clean, I'd still rather not have been overlooking them. Moan over.
The site location is great. It's close enough to Sewerby for a 10/15 minute walk for a bit of exercise, although there's a great farm shop (Marton Manor) on the way which serves great coffee and bacon sandwiches at reasonable prices, so that sort of knocks the healthy walk on the head!
The Ship Inn in Sewerby does good pub food and you can walk straight from their garden at the rear of the pub to the cliff tops - amazing views of Bridlington. (Say Hello the parrot in the bar!)
Sewerby Hall has pleasant gardens and since it was rained during our visit we did go inside the house which gave us shelter from the weather. It's okay, but I'd rather have been outside in some sunshine. The cafe serves reasonable coffee and sandwiches just by the Hall.
Dane's Dyke is 15/20 minutes walk from the site - a beauty spot which gives access directly to the beach on foot. Flamborough is 10 minutes drive away, and of course, Bridlington is 10 minutes in the opposite direction.
Bridlington Links golf course is smack opposite the site. I can't comment on the golf but the clubhouse itself is quite a walk from the site since it's closer to the cliff tops rather than the road. The sign at the entrance invites 'everyone' to eat at their restaurant so we hiked over one evening, only to be told (at 7:15) by a waitress in the middle of taking somebody else's order that they weren't taking any more orders for food because they had a big function running! As a result we had to hike back to the site to get the car to find another place to eat before it was too late (some places we found stop serving quite early in the week). It looks pleasant enough but we didn't go back to the golf club during our stay - there are plenty of options with better service.
Finally, a word of warning. Booking is a must at this site. The wardens told me they were really busy pretty much through to September, so either don't risk going without a booking, or hope for a cancellation!

What a lovely site this is. Only our second stay on a caravan club site but the standard was as high as ever. Lovely clean toilet blocks and showers. Huge spacious pitches, friendly wardens and friendly campers. The play ground was small but adequate and my 7 year old made stacks of friends.
There is a lovely farm shop and restaurant 10 min walk away and you can walk to sewerby in about half an hour.
A lovely little site which we will definitely be returning too.

Well what can I say other than 'the caravan club at it's best'
Warm friendly welcome from the wardens, very good approach to the site and beautiful flowers around reception.
Large pitches, .
We had a lovely pitch in the area at the bottom of the site, (shrubbery all around this area made it quite sheltered. ) Possibly a short cut to the facilities from here could have been added very easily when planning the site, though this is only a minor detail really.
The dog walk is very good and the play area looked ideal.
Bus stop not far from site about every half hour to Brid or Flamborough, 15 to 20 mins walk to ship pub with a variety of ales and good food, dog friendly too. About the same distance walk along the cliff top into Brid. The land train goes from the back of Sewerby hall near the Ship, we came back on it one day as it was raining and thought it was quite expensive, was informed by the warden that it is possibly cheaper by taxi.
Access to the lovely beach from here too, dogs are allowed on this part but not at Brid.
Bridlington is a nice little seaside town and better than I had remembered, quite a number of shops with a large Bouys department being quite impressive with four floors.
Flamborough light house were doing tours this was a great experience and the views were stunning.
Farm shop and tea room near the site, didn't have time to visit but will go next time.
We had a lovely stay and will be booking to go back next year.

We (two nearly wrinklies) have just returned from an enjoyable week at this site.
The weather, as with everywhere in GB at the moment, was rather hit and miss but this enabled us to tailor each day to get the most out of the surrounding areas - and we weren't disappointed!
It was roasting on the day of arrival so we simply put up the awning on the generously sized serviced pitch and had a peaceful bbq.
Having been to Bridlington as children, that was our first port of call the next day. Although a little run down now, it still held it's original charm and we watched the trawlers offload their catch from our comfy seats at the harbour side pub.
The following day was drizzly but undeterred we travelled to Filey and walked on the beautiful stretch of beach, eating our ice creams of course!
During the week, we also visited Whitby - where the fish and chips are a must, Robin Hoods Bay, and the larger town of Driffield, all of which are in easy reach (between 30 - 50 mins at the most). Hornsea is also worth a visit, both the beach and Freeport if you fancy some shopping.
On the way back, when the sun eventually came out, we walked the coastal paths roads at Fraisthorpe - amazing views and then moved round to Flamborough Head where we even caught sight of seals and puffins.
Locally, the friendly and efficient staff at the Ship served us good quality food. On site, the wardens were very helpful and chatty and all the facilities were immaculate.
We only heard the grain factory once the whole time we were there so it wasn't an issue for us. Overall, a great holiday with plenty of options in all weathers.

We stayed here again for a couple of nights at the May Bank Holiday weekend, it was about £26 a night for hardstanding pitch with electric.
The welcome was just the same as before and we were given a choice of a couple of pitches and then when selected to let the wardens know and they give you your barrier access card.
The site was extremely clean and well looked after.
The toilet block was again spotless and no problems at all.
There were a few kids about this time which was better than the earlier season visit we did so a little life about the place and our daughter could play with a few people.
We walked out of the site and left along the road a little then you can enter Danes Dyke nature walk and down to the sea. There is a little cafe as well, parking costs in the carpark so walking from the site is the best.
If you come out of the site and turn right along the road you get to a farm shop and cafe quickly, a little further is Sewerby Hall where there is a zoo, house and sometimes exhibitions. Here you can access the land train to get you directly to Bridlington or walk along the cliffs. A model village is 1/2 way between Sewerby and Bridlington.
There is also a pub called the Ship Inn at Sewerby which I have heard good things about the meals but we didn't visit.
The house next to the campsite has a little table selling eggs, jam etc with an honesty box.
The shop on site isn't very well stocked, no crisps but it does have drinks in a chiller and ice creams.
We didn't experience any noise from the factory nearby at all on this trip, maybe not in operation on the bank hols.
The site did have a cold wind though but this will hopefully reduce as the trees and plantings take hold in the future.
We will be returning.

Good site, easy entrance, good size pitches, excellent washrooms as always with caravan club. We stayed on a serviced pitch on top tier, very tidy & well presented. Being a new site I expect all the shrubs to bloom shortly & blend in with the surroundings. Did get a few people complaining about walking up from lower tier to top tier for toilet block, maybe they need to look at a short cut path from lower tier to washroom instead of walking all the way round the roads. Beware of speed traps if coming of M62 at Howden, 5 people I know of were caught out towing in a 30 zone mistaking it for a 40 zone.

Visited this site begining of March, very easy to find as the driveway is straight off the main road! Lovely site, very new, facilities excellent as you would expect from a CC site. Warders very helpful and friendly, some reviews have mentioned the site being split and having to walk out of an area to get to the facilities, this was not a problem for us. We were really impressed with the sea front at Bridlington, everywhere was painted ready for the Summer season. Bridlington itself was fine in the day but we tried to find somewhere for a meal on the Saturday night and it was awful, at 10 to 7 in the evening lots of drunken louts around the town centre, we did find somewhere nice to eat called Poppies, lovely food, they do a carvary as well which looked lovely, definitely recommended. If we were to go again we'd drive out to one of the local villages for a meal. We visited Flamborough Head, you can actually walk along the coastal path from Bridlington but the day we intended to do it it was far too wet and windy so we took the car, excellent views and of course the lighthouse. Not too sure about going to Bridlington again, however Yorkshire has so many other beautiful places on offer we are not finished with it yet.

Just returned from a 4 night break, £56. 80 for one adult and 2 children so good value albeit low season. The site has fantastic facilities. Good dog walking field and popular play park. As others have mentioned it will look a lot nicer when the newly planted trees and shrubs start to grow. Some areas of the site are quite exposed so the trees will certainly help with providing some shelter. We arrived just after the snow had disappeared but the warden said they had been canceling people on the previous 2 days as the site was without water due to the freezing conditions. Good walks into Bridlington and Flamborough. Nearest dog friendly pub is The Ship in Sewerby which is about 20 minutes walk away.
Would recommend and would return.

We stayed on 2 occassions for short weekend breaks in December and January. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The hard sanding pitches are generous. Whilst using the dog area we saw an owl swooping around in the dusk, a real treat. The facilities are excellent but not sure if ample when the site is full. A short walk down to Danes Dyke and the beach if the tide is out you can walk north to Flamborough along the rocks, or south to Bridlington along a mainly sandy beach, it is really beautiful. There are also cliff walks but take care to follow the signed advice as the cliffs are constantly eroding, we keep our dog on a lead near the cliffs as it can be v dangerous. Sewerby is lovely, especially if you have children. We will make this site a regular haunt as it is ideal for a short weekend break being 1hr from home.

We stayed here for 1 night in January 2012, the site is a recent addition to the CC and brand new. The facilities are excellent, MH service point was good and all worked without a problem. This is in a layby just outside the main (and only) toilet block.
The reception welcome was good, we were the last ones arriving at 17:30. Barriers are present and keycards required. There is a pull in lane for checking in and another incoming lane for returners.
We were shown a list of pitches on a map that we might be interested in, it was a find your own and let us know setup.
Pitches are all hardstanding and a good size, 16A EHU present.
The site itself with it being new has minimal planting at the moment, lots of tree saplings are present so in the coming years it will fill out.
Toilets/showers all present and disabled facilities. Block was heated and piped music.
There is a small children's playpark and a dog walk.
The site is on the road from Bridlington to Flamborough, I had a rough idea of where it was so I could slow down in enough time. I don't recall a sign on the opposite side of the road pointing into the entrance but the usual CC sign is within the entrance.
On the morning after we went to north landing at Flamborough, free parking in the winter time as the cafe/pub is shut.
