What a wonderful site. Situated not far from cardigan town centre. We arrived for two night stay and had a warm weckme from the owner who was so helpful.

Toilet block really clean and hot water was plentiful. I would give this site 10 out of 10, couldn't fault this site at all.

Will definitely be going back.

Firstly I want to say how friendly and welcoming the owners are and having a good old chin wag with the farmer found him to be a wonderful host.

The facilities were excellent and the site was very clean and tidy, the grass was kept very well as were the hard standings, well lit and easy to park in and not too close to each other, , in all, , a lovely site and one I will certainly visit again, Thank you to Both the host, s.

The owners also directed me to the best fish and chip shop I have ever had, burp ! Thank you again.

A great Campsite located at the top of the hill outside Cardigan on the Fishguard Road. 20 odd hardstanding pitches for caravans / motorhomes and a large level field and other areas for tents.

Facilities are excellent with hot showers, modern toilet block and washing machine / dryer /fridge freezer / microwave and kettle for your use should you need them. Washing up facilities are indoors too. Also superfast WiFi which covers the whole site.

Views are excellent and there are always some of the fields nearby open for running your dog(s).

Ground can be a little hard and stony, so those 99p for 20 tent pegs may not prove to be the best investment, but quality gear has no problems at all. Grass excellently manicured. No facilities (as such) for kids, but the farmers welcome visitors to the animals on the farm, which is a big hit with kids I am sure. At night, the site is well lit with low level lights close to the water taps.

Sturdy wooden picnic tables abound, just grab one if you can, or the owners will move one for you with their farm machinery. Owners are very friendly and welcoming indeed.

The lady who runs the site told us that they were shortly going to cut the long grass in the flat field between the current site and the farm boundary, effectively doubling the size of the pitching area for tents. Water standpipes were already in place around the perimeter, though no lights.

Very relaxed atmosphere. No hard and fast rules for pitching / decamping times etc which is refreshing.

A short(ish) walk to Cardigan or the lovely St. Dogmaels. One pub within a mile, several within 2.

Fabulous site although we had a little trouble finding it. Really quiet and owners very friendly.

Messaged me very quickly when I made my initial enquiry. Arrived quite late but it wasn't a problem. Dog friendly and no charge.

All facilities were very clean and nice to use. Lovely view. Will definitely be returning again.

Nicely laid out site with ample room between pitches. The toilet block was described as new and yes it is, however, closer inspection of the ladies facilities revealed that the sanitary bins in particular were severely dusty and didn't look as if they had been cleaned in some time.

General cleanliness in the block could have been better. Website states that it's a twenty minute walk into Cardigan, what they fail to say is it's a trek over neighbouring fields and downhill all the way.

Great on the way down but not so great on the return journey

We have just returned from a fantastic weekend at this gem of a campsite. The facilities were spotless. Free hot showers and even a coin operated hair-drier. Indoor washing up with washing machine, tumble drier, microwave and fridge freezer. Owners are very friendly and always stop for a chat. It was pretty windy when we were there, so next time we will pitch more to the edge of the site.

Overall a lovely quiet site with great views.

Thank you

A quick summary is that this is one of the best campsites I've ever used.

The only negatives which might concern some people are:

There is nothing for the children - playground etc

It is set high above Cardigan and the walk from the town back up to the campsite is not ideal if you plan to eat/drink in the town (no pub nearer).

Neither of those worried us and the positive points are many.

There is a very large field set aside for tents and there were max 3 tents in it at anytime over the 5 nights we were there, which included a weekend of superb weather in June. The facilities block is new, spotless and never busy. It includes fridge/freezer, indoor washing up sinks, washing machine and free hot showers; although my wife did complain that the spray was so fine she had to dance about to catch any water! The whole block is kept very clean by the very friendly and helpful owners. Price is subjective but I thought we paid far too little for such a good site. In fact I tried to pay more than the set rate but the owners refused.

Overall, stunningly good.

Have spent a wonderful two nights at a site which is just simply perfect. This site is camping just how it should be. Immaculate facilities, very reasonably priced, good sized pitches, only the sound of a tractor in the distance. What more could you ask for. The owners are so helpful with advice on the local area etc we had, what all four of us agreed was the best curry ever at Shampan, a floating Indian restaurant in Cardigan. Wonderful sunset. The free wifi was great and the fact that we weren't given a list of rules on arrival, refreshing. We wished we lived closer to be able to enjoy this site more but we will definitely be back.

Lovely welcome on arrival by owners, some very useful information on the area suggested to us, we were told to help ourselves to free eggs for breakfast.

Bathroom facilities brand new and spotless, one tiny moan showers not hot enough, but that's a personal preference, I found them tepid at best.

Laundry area, all brand new,

Everything you need has been thought of at a very reasonable price £15.00 inc electric

More geared to couples than families, nothing for children

Area lovely, cardigan a lovely little town, not safe to walk to, no pavements and the 10% hill would make for an exhausting trek even if you were ironman!

A fantastic site with full facilities at a very reasonable price, the hosts could not do enough to make your stay very pleasant. When we were there in mid August the weather was fantastic with superb views and night skies.

This site has to be visited to appreciate the facilities and the area in which it is situated.

We where there for the food festival and visited several local tourist attractions including a local brewery which I can also recommend.

The toilet/facility block is very clean and much higher standard than what you would expect on a caravan site.

They also offer free wi-fi which is great for checking weather and what's on on the area.

I have never been on a site this organised and so well run whilst leaving you free to play games and walk my dogs in the nearby surrounding fields.

I am so impressed that I plan to visit again ASAP and possibly site the van there next summer.
