We are a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children aged 16, 13 and 10) plus our black labrador dog and we stayed for 10 nights. There was plenty of space to pitch our largish tent and we also used the electric hook up facility.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found the site ideal for the dog. Gareth and Pam (the owners) were very friendly and welcoming and encouraged us to walk the dog on their own fields and woodland path. The beach at Poppit Sands was also great for the dog as there was plenty of room for him to run about. Only a small section was not for dogs in the summer months.
The children had plenty of room to play ball games and badminton etc. In the middle of the tent field which was generally level and well drained. Although it poured down the evening we arrived and all through the night until 2pm the following day we had no problems with mud. We were a little worried about the site being exposed to the wind but we had very strong winds that first evening and have experienced worse conditions elsewhere.
The toilet and shower facilities were excellent and there was never a shortage of hot water. We also made full use of the campers' kitchen which had a fridge freezer, microwave and two sinks for washing up. Also a washing machine and tumble dryer which cost £2 per cycle.
Overall an excellent site with great owners. Just what we wanted for a relaxing holiday.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at this lovely campsite, very impressed with the warmth of the welcome from Pam and Gareth.
The showers and toilet block were spotless, with plenty of space. The extra facilities such as kettle, microwave, fridge-freezer and free wi-fi all added to a very enjoyable stay.
Pitches were flat, stone free and we had plenty of room between tents.
Magnificent views from the site looking across the countryside and towards the sea.
We visited some lovely beaches at Poppit Sands and Mwnt.
We would definitely visit again.

Just returned from a 5 day stay at this lovely site. There is plenty of room to pitch and Pam and Gareth are very helpful with advice.
The toilet and shower facilities are spotless, there is a lovely area for washing up with a fridge and freezer free of charge. There is also a washing machine and tumble dryer £2 each per load.
Free wifi is available, on occasions we found this difficult to access, apparently there has been problems for the past few weeks.
Cardigan is just down the hill with places like Newquay not too far. We would recommend the dolphin spotting trip from Newquay harbour its an amazing experience!
The only downfall for this site is that it is quite high up and susceptible to wind, 2 nights of our stay we had gale force winds and our poor tent took a real battering. Our advice would be take plenty of storm pegs.
Overall it is a lovely friendly site with excellent facilities.

Don't know if I want to praise this site to much, for the fear it will become over popular.
We had a fabulous 7 night stay here, and of course the wonderful weather we had meant we could enjoy the numerous beautiful beaches and coves around the coast. Even the dog friendly areas on the beaches were lovely.
If you are looking for a enjoyable and relaxing holiday with your 4 legged friend, this is most definitely the place to go, and the site to stay. Shops, pubs/restaurants are about a mile or so away. There are coastal walks with absolutely amazing views, this really is a beautiful place.
I can only echo the comments made in previous reviews and congratulate Pam and Gareth for the work and commitment to making your stay enjoyable.
There is a very nice cottage available to hire that they have done up, sleeps about six.
I don't think there is much for teenagers on the site, but owner was only to happy to give me a guided tour of the working farm and the animals they have, there is a pony they are happy for young children to ride, and plenty of space for games, but it really would be a shame to stay on the site and not enjoy the area.
We look forward to visiting again and to see how their gorgeous pup Bella is getting on.

Just back from 4 days on this lovely site and it lived up to our expectations.
Facilities are kept spotlessly clean. The provision of a fridge/freezer and microwave, (no charge) and washing-up bowls, cloths and liquid are the extras campers appreciate. The showers are spacious with plenty of hooks and shelves, and a good temperature.
Pam and Gareth are lovely and very relaxed in their approach. There were a few large family groups with 2 or 3 tents when we were there and it was nice that they were able to pitch together without fuss.
The site is spacious and also has the sun all day which is a bonus. There are ample electric hook-ups for caravans and tents.
Cardigan town is a mile and a half down the hill. A lovely town with plenty of good places to eat and reasonably priced parking.
We would definitely go back.

Just back from 4 nights stay at this site, the owners Pam and Gareth could not have made us more welcome.
The site is well maintained with adequate facilities which are kept clean to a high standard. The toilet/shower block is brand new as is the washing up area where a kettle and microwave are provided free of charge.
Would like to visit on a regular basis but we live too far away unfortunately
There is plenty of shopping a mile away in Cardigan with a number of Pubs. Cafes and Restaurants

The charming and ever-helpful owners have done a great job here since 2012 in creating a new site on their farm. They have managed to provide excellent facilities and infrastructure while at the same time having a natural and peaceful atmosphere to the site. They have an ethos of green sustainability, with massive solar panels heating the shower water and rain-water run-off from a barn for flushing the loos.
The site itself is a large open field, with hedging on all sides. There is an open and airy aspect, with good views to one side from the hill-top location. Access for caravans seems to be very good, with a solid access road from the main road 400m away (no traffic noise). Shower/toilet block was new in 2012 and is excellent. A small facilities room has micro-wave, kettle, fridge-freezer, wash-machine and dryer. The WiFi is free (which I still find hard to believe!)
The nearest decent food shop (TESCO) is 2 miles away - turn R out of site, follow A487 to Aberystwyth over two roundabouts, then turn L at traffic lights (yes, we do have them in West Wales).
Excellent walking in the area (some of the best bits of the Wales Coast Path) Llangrannog (10 miles) to Cymtydu (near New Quay) along the path cut into the cliff is stunning.
Can't fault it, and you won't either, unless you want clubhouses and amusement parks. Do you?

We visited this site as it was close to the Pembrokeshire Coastal path. It is only 2 miles from the start/end of the path. The site is flat with lots of space. The facilities are first class. The owners are very friendly and are great ambassadors for their region. The site has only been open since 2012 and we all know it was one of the worst summers on record so they did not have the best of luck on starting this new venture. In conclusion it's a great site and will improve even more when all the tree's that have been planted mature.

A really lovely campsite - nice and 'informal' with a nice, laid back atmosphere. The owners have made a real effort here and it shows. Within 1 mile of the town of Cardigan, and virtually on the Ceredigion & Pembrokeshire border just south of the Teifi river.
We have NO complaints whatsoever here. It really did feel like a home from home, and with free eggs freshly laid by the farm's hens (the white ones are superb!), a great free wifi connection, and great facilities (toilets, showers, washer, dryer, micorwave, fridge/freezer for customers use, this is a really nice site, - 'no frills' - but all done superbly. If you want a cabaret lounge and bar, go elsewhere. But we're planning on making an excuse to come back to this little jem of a place.
Many thanks for a great stay - DIOLCH YN FAWR IAWN!

What a lovely site.
Big enough pitch for our motorhome and 17ft boat.
Hardstanding/grass pitches and just hardstanding pitches as well as plenty of grass pitches for tents.
Toilet block big and clean with mop for wiping out shower after use.
Washing up area had bowls and plugs and washing up liquid and dish clothes.
Well sign posted off A487 but could do with another sign when on farm track.
Easy to cycle into Cardigan, only 1 mile, but only possible to push bikes back as very steep hill!
We launched our boat from Gwbert about 3 mile away.
Cardigan nice little town with coastal and river walks, supermarkets and cinema.
Price very reasonable and same price all year round.
Family friendly site.
