This is the 3rd time we have visited this campsite and every time we have had a fantastic experience.
The owners are always very accommodating and helpful. Nice little quiet campsite, with basic facilities (just toilets, wash basins and fresh water).
The on site brewery is amazing and definitely worth a visit to try the fantastic real ales.
I would highly recommended this campsite if you're looking for a nice little campsite with fantastic real ales :)

Stayed for one night to be near WildAx motorhomes for a service next morning. Basic facilities for £10 with EHU but the great attraction is the on site real ale brewery and pub which is constructed from portacabin units originally sited at the Chunnel construction site. The owner helped us settle on site and over a drink later in the evening shared motorhome experiences touring in France & Spain. The site is slightly sloping but easy to get level when parking a motorhome. Good location for exploring West Yorkshire. We will return to sample the range of real ales again

* Extremely helpful and informative owners
* Ideally located for Huddersfield, Halifax, Bradford and the surrounding areas
* Outstanding value - £10 per night including hook up and free wi-fi
* A hidden gem / green oasis in a suburban area
* Excellent Geocaching at Ogden Waters
* A Micro Brewery on site
Facilities
As you would expect from a CL - CD point, toilets, water point
There is traffic noise as a main road is close by but no more than you would expect from a suburban location
This was our first visit to this site and the first run out for our caravan for the 2014 season. Ideal location to 'unwrap' your van for the new season
We would highly recommend this site

I have to admit this is an hidden gem. I was very impressed with the facility albeit a small site with room for 6 vans. The micro brewery was excellent and very welcoming. I attended with my family for one night £10.00 inc electric. Dog friendly. Will be certainly staying again. It is near a main road so may get some noise overnight. There is electric hookup. The site is close to a coop supermarket and Chinese takeaway.

The mircobrewery is very good as well
A very good bus service to both Halifax and Huddersfield every 15 mins
Free wifi as well is a big bonus to keep in touch
The site has a couple of hard standing and four mains hook ups slight slope if you park the grass but no problem to get off

Great little site with very friendly & helpful owners very well located for visiting the surrounding areas. The facilities are basic but you get what you pay for and for us (2 x Adults and a dog) it was just what we wanted and we thoroughly enjoyed the relaxed surroundings with plenty of dog walking areas.
There is a small Coop within walking distance together with plently of take aways.
The best part of it for us was the Brewery and bar on site selling a selection of 10 Real Ales.
There is a fair amount of road noise in the Morning, but again this didn't bother us, the other benefits made up for it.
Looking forward to a return visit in the near future.

Very surprised there are no reviews already for what is an ace little site!
Located in the grounds of a motorhome repair facility, there is also an excellent microbrewery which hosts its own small pub in a large portable cabin on site. The facilities of this pub are open to campers day and night.
Not a rural location, but reasonably quiet. The site is within walking distance of a number of takeaways, including an excellent Chinese take-away which we used on our first night.
The owners were very pleasant and helpful.
We will return!
