Lovely little site. Approx 7-8 units.
Good size pitches.
Toilets on site (no showers). Brewery/pub on site.
Literally a stones throw away. Great bar.
Fabulous choice of ales.
Very welcoming.
5 minute walk to nearest Chip Shop & Tesco Express and further pubs & places to eat.
Would highly recommend. Will be back.

Great little campsite, with friendly owners, neighbours and locals.
No info on anything really before arrival, but that wasn't a problem.
Once on site, very relaxed.
And pub next door is a bonus!

Lovely little site convenient for Halifax centre, we had tickets to the theatre & this was the nearest site we could find, just £8 in a taxi.
Only a small field but generous size pitches.
Owners very nice chatty folk and helpful. No dog walk but great field just across the road.
The micro brewery next door is great and the Cock of The North pub attached to it serves some wonderful real ales.
Some road noise but not enough to really bother us.
No showers but nice clean toilets.
Would visit again.

Good basic site, has everything you need. Helpful owner.
Good location, there’s a bus stop just outside the site but we walked to Shibden Hall - took about 30 mins, then up beacon hill with views over Halifax.
Back to the pub on the campsite - friendly staff and lots of real ales to choose from.

We have visited this site 3 times now, and we LOVE the laid-back way it is run. We arrived, sorted ourselves out for electricity etc, and went to the pub! (The pub is 20 yards away, so it isn't difficult!) Free wi-fi so that's good, and there was enough to keep our 15 yr old granddaughter occupied - she loved the fish!
The site is exactly equidistant from our family down there, and the pub is a great place to meet up.
All in all, I would recommend this site to anyone who wants a hassle free stay

Excellent advice when booking, wonderful welcome and tips on getting in to Halifax via public transport.
Well maintained basic site which is an oasis in an industrial estate/residential area. Location great for transport and very reasonably priced site.
Location next to the brewery tap is a bonus and the regulars all friendly and helpful.
I know where I will be staying in Halifax next time!

Lovely little site hidden away amongst industrial area, very welcoming. As directions say, approach from Brighouse or you will miss the sign!
Added bonus having the pub on site, check out the massive fish tank the whole length of the bar! Lovely people.
Perfect stopover for two nights, visiting relatives in Southowram and Elland.
Would visit again.
