We had a lovely stay at this quiet site so close to Whitby and robin hood's bay. We found the owners very friendly and helpful.
Toilet and shower block is only small but suitable for the size of the site. They were kept very clean.
Lots of room for the kids to run around without invading others space.

We loved this campsite. Owner very friendly on arrival. It’s quiet other than the usual farmyard noises as it’s next to a farm. Great views all round.
1 toilet and 1 shower each for men and women, very clean and well kept.
The site is dog friendly with a safe area for your dog to exercise/wee.
2 miles to walk to Robin Hood’s Bay, it’s a lovely walk down and a hard one back up but doable if you use the benches and rest at stages.
There’s a local taxi if needs be. 2 miles to drive on the main road to a big Sainsbury’s.
The bus stop to catch the bus to Whitby/Scarborough is a 20 min walk.

The campsite is fantastic.
The owners were lovely, the campsite is absolutely spotless, the views are stunning and we even saw a barn owl hunting in the field next to us as we arrived.
It is very quiet - there were only 3 other caravans on a bank holiday weekend,
The shower and toilet were spotless and we had a great walk to Whitby from the campsite and took the bus back - the bus stop is about 1 miles from the campsite.

Lovely small, clean and friendly site with beautiful sea and Whitby Abbey views.
Good location for visiting Whitby and Scarborough, with Robin Hood's Bay within walking distance.

We stayed in glorious weather in April 2023 for 9 nights. The site is ideal in respect of it's a rural location.
Facilities are excellent and the hosts are very helpful and friendly.
It's close to Whitby and there are great views of the abbey and surrounding area as it on top of a hill.
There are also lots of other lovely places within 10 to 15 miles of the site and a good bus service for linear walks to be completed by parking in one area and using the bus to take you to the starting point of your walk.
There's a good mix of cliff, flat and hilly walks to explore and plenty to do in the evenings if you want to.
For meals Brambles Bistro near to the sea front in Robin Hood's Bay is highly recommended but bear in mind you'll probably need to book a taxi for the walk up the steep hills to get back to the site.
We'll definitely return.

Good location for cycling/walking, although there are some steep banks to tackle for the less mobile.
We were given good local knowledge reference cycling/walking trails from Alex
The site was clean with good clean facilities. Pitches were spacious enough.
The nearest pub and shop is about 1 mile away, but be aware it is down a quite steep hill.
There was a nice utility area if required with sinks, fridge, and I think a microwave.
Robin Hoods Bay is walkable, but again be aware it is very hilly, and we cycled into Whitby along the 'Cinder Path 'which was a very pleasant route.
Would recommend a visit to this site.

Excellent location and small site with very good clean facilities.
The gentleman who greeted us was very helpful and friendly.
The site was quiet and spacious.
A fridge washing up facility and microwave all added to the positive experience.
Robin Hoods Bay walkable (easy downhill - slightly more energetic return !).
The nearest pub is a steep hill (on way to Rubin hoods bay) about a mile from campsite - nearest ‘corner shop’ is there too.
Whitby is close by with a Sainsburys/Aldi on the main road about 5-10 mins drive away.

Lovely campsite with spacious well presented pitches.
The facilities are always clean and adequate. The views are amazing.
It is a bit secluded, the nearest pub / shop is about a mile away and down a very steep quiet country lane. Ok if you are active or fit.
The Cinder Track is fantastic for cycling and walking, and there is the Cleveland coastal walk, which is fantastic.
Overall we had a great break.
