Upon arrival we were greeted with a fantastic view of Whitby. The owner came to greet us and once signed in, we were offered a choice of pitches.
Once set up, we familiarised ourselves with the the amenities and there locations.
There is a pot wash wash area with hot running water and a ladies and gents toilet block, with shower, all were kept very clean. There is also an extremely secure dog run area for your furry friends.
There is a chemical waste area with fresh water to clean your own facilities. We had a lovely 5 nights and were made very welcome.
We will return ****

Great little campsite with lovely views,
Facilities are very clean only minor gripe I had was there was only 1 toilet for women and 1 for men, meaning a queue on a morning, however the site was full so maybe this isn't a problem when a little bit quieter, shower was warm
And the owners were friendly from the minute we booked it,
Would definitely stay again

Lovely small campsite with excellent facilities. This was just the sort of site we like.
Flat pitches, well spaced out. Plenty of hot water and free showers.
The dog field is a great idea.
Not busy when we were there and so facilities were good, I would imagine there might be a queue if site is properly full.

Fab spot, clean facilities, and a great owner (Alex). Everything you need from a good campsite.
We will definitely visit again.
Watch out for the charlatans at Abby View Campsite just down the road, they will claim they are Abby View House, take your money, and tell you they don't do refunds. Fortunately, we were refunded £25 and went to the correct campsite.
Thank you for a great stay Alex

Very large and ideally located campsite
Only 10 mins walk down into whitby town centre
But there just aren't enough facilities on site to cope with the amount of campers.

Abbey View House is, as the name suggests, a view of the abbey in Whitby, some 4 miles away.
We had electric hook up for our tent which worked very well.
The facilities at the camp site were very good, lots of hot water in the washrooms/showers, and for the pots and pans washing area. Toilets are closed every day for 1 hour between one o clock and two o clock to enable cleaning to take place, making the washrooms spotless.
Have 5 bins allocated for the disposal of campers rubbish, each clearly marked for the disposal of food waste, bottles, tins, cardboard and plastic, but some people just dump anything anywhere because they can't be bothered to sort it out.
My only gripe about the camp site is, I wish there was a drying room for wet towels, clothes etc, would make life a little easier.
On the whole, a nice camp site.

Good campsite, friendly hosts and adequate facilities.
Would have preferred to be nearer Robon Hood's Bay but not possible, so had to move van to visit.
