Great basic stopover, whilst we were enroute to Portsmouth, would be suitable for someone catching a ferry, or good base to explore the surrounding area. Portsmouth about 20 minutes. We paid £12 for two adults and a motorhome, hardstanding area, fairly level and field for tents. Chem dump, and some hookups. Easy walk to the criketers pub down the lane. Supermarket for provisions in town. Very quiet and peaceful. Great contact from owners. We will be back.

Just got back from Woodside farm site. It was a lovely site. Had a porta loo very clean and lots of water taps. It was very sheltered and really friendly site. Child and dog friendly. Views were lovely. Close to peters field and Alton for shops and lots of days out exploring Salisbury and Winchester. Already booked up for August bank holiday. Only downside, no washing facilities, ie sinks/showers and the tent field was overgrown. The caravan field was kept beautiful so we kinda felt we were the poor relatives, but didn't put us off

Just had a few nights stay at Ridge Farm. Used the hard standing which was fine and of a good size. Lovely views over fields and onto the South Downs which were slightly spoilt by a large old American RV which parked across the front of others.
Owner was very friendly and at £12 a night including electric, was good value.
Very handy for Petersfield the A3 and the A272.
Own sanitation required. Would recommend and I hope to go back soon.

We spent a pleasant week end at Ridge Farm Steep near Petersfield campsite. Own sanitation is essential, there is a chemical disposal point and fresh water supply. It is mostly hard stand but there is a small grass area.
The Market town of Petersfield is two - five miles away with a Tesco, Waitrose etc, and Pubs and Restaurants and local shops. The views from the site looked across the fields to Harting Down. We were visited by a little robin daily and heard owls at night.
