Immaculate toilets and facilities on site. We had a serviced pitch which came with water supply and drainage. Hardstanding Ground is fairly hard (as expected) so you do require decent pegs.
Booking system (due to covid) for the bars, restaurant, swimming pools etc does not work, very difficult to get a booking slot. Constantly booked in full. All groups should get a chance at some point of visiting but was very difficult. No advance warning of the system being in place either.
Shop fairly well stocked. Easy access to the beach.
Overall a nice site.

3rd or 4th time at this site.
Bags of room, immaculate toilets ( showers closed due to covid), very well stocked shop with warm pastries in the morning.
Within easy reach of a number of interesting places to visit.
I hope to be regular visitors for some years to come.

The online booking system for bowling, restaurant and swimming wasn't working so had to try several times to get in swimming
Had to go up on the hour on the hope someone's didn't turn up. It should be if you have booked for 3 nights you should get allocated spaces for this and if you are unable to attend then it's changed on site.

We loved camping in Freshwater Beach, spotless facilities, clean and spacious toilets and showers, plenty for everyone.
Swimming pool indoor and outdoor were really nice and fun for families with children, the park for kids was a bit small for this big camping site, nice private beach but dangerous for children and even for adults.
In general we had a great time and we do recommend Freshwater Beach and we will definitely go back.

The site was kept immaculate with grass being mown, rubbish picked up, bins emptied regularly. Staff polite and helpful. Access roads could be wider for size of units. We used our own facilities so can’t comment on those. It was very much a family oriented site.
I am disabled so the beach was difficult for me to access - a type of board walk onto the beach would have been helpful. We were on a fully serviced pitch with water, electric & waste but for other pitches the water and waste was quite scarce.
Obviously lots of facilities were restricted because of covid 19 & therefore it was quite expensive.
Free WiFi was a bonus

Fantastic site with well maintained facilities, however unable to manage loud and drunk guests partying until 4am.
Private Beach clean and tidy and overall had a great time, shame that little things let it down.
