Had a fantastic few days here during our road trip through Spain and Portugal. It was a delight to find a CL style site having experienced the large cramped ACSI sites, wild camping and motorhome car parks!
Quinta Manjericao provided us with a large hard standing pitch which had a water tap and electric supply. It also came with a fantastic view of the quiet country side. A bargain at 60 euros for 7 nights.
The friendly owners went out of their way to make us welcome, Providing us with all sorts of help and information and the eggs from their own hens were the best we have tasted Anywhere!
I would recommend you try this site as the owners are putting a lot of effort into making it work and we do
Hope they achieve the success they deserve.
Good luck from John & Louise

What a lovely find this small campsite is, only 10 mins from Lagos, set in the national park.
The owners gave us a warm and friendly welcome.
Both English speaking with a good knowledge of the surrounding area, they helped us to find some great local produce, in fact our morning eggs for breakfast were purchased from them from their own chickens.
The site has large pitches with water, electricity and waste disposal.
If you are looking for peace and quiet with fabulous views this pitch is great value at 60. 00 Euro's per week.

We were looking for peace and quiet and fabulous views which is exactly what we got here at Quinta Manjericao. This is a beautiful little smallholding which feels like you are in the middle of nowhere yet only 2km from life if you want it. Western Algarve, 10 mins from Lagos and 15 mins to Sagres. The owners were really helpful and friendly and their little piglets were just delightful. They also have chickens and ducks and 3 beautiful dogs. The facilities are just like a cl type site with water, electricity and waste disposal available. The pitches are level are large and all hardstanding. We stayed just a week for €60. 00 but hope to be out for a few months next winter and will definitely be staying here. Recommended A+++
