This is a beautiful location, in the countryside. You are well looked after by the owners who have worked hard to transform the wild area into 6 pitches. The peace and quiet and bird life. There are no toilets or showers. There is a washing machine which is available at a small fee. If you want a restaurant or entertainment other than the sky at night, its not for you. We loved it so much we went back in Feb-March 2017. Intermarche 5 mins in car. 10 mins by bike there, 20 mins back. The down side is the potholes in the lane to the site, take care, they are very deep. It won't stop us from returning. Thank you for a little piece of heaven.

Loved this site. Just like a CL but with 6 large pitches. Electricity to all pitches and water very close, also free Wifi. Chemical emptying pit nearby but you need your own facilities. Supermarket close by at Budens and plenty of shopping at Lagos.
Lovely, sandy beaches just a few kilometers by car.
Just be aware that the lane to the site is quite rough and full of potholes so take it very carefully.
We were there in late May and after our first night had the site all to ourselves.

I don't really want to tell people about this little gem but the owner's deserve a 10/10 for creating a great place to be!
But. It's just like a good British CL site so if you want toilets, showers, play parks etc don't bother coming. If you just want peace and quiet, large pitches and lovely views it's the perfect place to be.

Found this camp site on here. A short distance from the main road but absolutely quiet with a beautiful view. Just like a CL/CS in the UK there are no toilets or showers. Pitches are a fair size with water and electric. The owners are very helpful but not intrusive. Supermarkets and garages are not far on the main road.

This is a fantastic little campsite. The pitches are flat and gravelled with excellent views across the valley. There are no toilets or showers but there are water and electric points at each pitch and there is a chemical toilet disposal point. The British owners are very friendly, welcoming and helpful without being over-bearing and the atmosphere is calm, relaxed and peaceful. From the campsite there is a footpath that takes you to the coast where there is a lovely beach and beautiful walks both ways along the cliffs. It is also a great base for exploring this very unspoilt corner of Portugal. As it only has six pitches I would think it would be worth phoning ahead to check for space as it was almost full when we were there in January. It is also excellent value for money!

We had the immense pleasure of visiting this lovely site in June this year. The pitches are very spacious. The view across the valley from all the pitches is nothing less than spectacular. The owners are the most helpful people you could wish to meet. They respect your privacy yet are available instantly to assist you.
Access to some spectacular beaches, either public ones or more remote secluded ones are all within a 15 minute drive. If you like golf you are within 10 minutes of some spectacular courses.

A lovely site just like a CL type site. Very quiet with beautiful views and owners willing to help if needed but they do not intrude on your privacy. The only downside is it is approx half a mile down a track with pot holes but heaps of gravel were there to repair it so it should improve soon.
Stayed two weeks would have been longer but had to return home for a funeral.
Plenty of walking from the site which is ideal for a dog. Beaches are within a short drive as is a supermarket. We would love to return there.

This site is as near as you can get to an old type UK CL site. Its facilities comprise water, electricity and sewage disposal point - that's it and for short holiday stays of a few days or so all that's needed but for winter sun worshippers access to a washing machine would be beneficial.
The pitches are large and we had no trouble reversing our 8m twin axle caravan into the pitch without resorting to the mover. All six pitches have a great view across a valley towards the sea (although there is no sea view).
Unusually for Portugal your ears are not constantly assaulted by barking dogs although there is a house a short distance away with a whole pack of dogs wandering the grounds that bark when people or cars go past and the site owners have two or three dogs themselves that do the same, but there are such infrequent passers by the peace and tranquillity is undisturbed.
There is much to see and do in the area and with Lagos close by plenty of shops supermarkets, restaurants and bars to cater for all tastes.
The site owners are helpful and friendly, available when needed but unobtrusive when not.
This site has not long been open but as word gets round I predict you will have to start pre-booking to get a pitch.

We stayed on this site in October whilst passing through to the Algarve, phoned Sian who gave us the directions and was met by Darren who took us down the lane to the site.
The pitches are very large and hardstanding with water and electricity close by, also great views over the countryside especially in the morning with the sunrise and sunset in the evening
We cycled to Burgau about 20 mins and Salema 30 mins both have great beaches and restaurants
Also good bus service on the main road to Sagres and Lagos.
Intermarch very close by for groceries and fuel.
Great site just like CC or CL site in the UK but with sunshine and fantastic value at 60 Euros for the week, will definitely call in again when passing through the area.
Many thanks for info and hope to see you soon
Gary & Helen
