Really enjoyed our stay at this site. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Lovely quiet site, within good walking/cycling distance across fields to Thame itself which is a lovely place too.
Red kites and plenty of wildlife in the area.
Would definitely come back.

Site was very muddy, even though it's supposed to be all weather pitches. Most of the units were permanent residents.
Site could do with a good tidy. Will not be staying here again!
Supposed to have enough electricity for 4 nights but ran out after two! No extra heaters etc so not sure why we ran out.
Had to pay for extra electric which you had to ask the manager, not sure if you ran out in the middle of the night?!

Lovely campsite although they are undergoing some work over the winter which is making things a little muddy. Will be great when its finished.
Very helpful with people living on site to assist you in anyway necessary.
Have electric hook ups, fresh water, rubbish disposal, grey water and chemical toilet disposal points.
You have to be self sufficient as there are no toilets or showers.
Would definitely stay again when we are next in the area.

For those seeking a secure, beautiful, quiet site without all the extras of showers and toilets, then this is the one for you. From the moment you arrive and receive a very warm welcome from Angela the Warden, you just know you are going to have a wonderful stay. Both Angela and her husband, Martin, are friendly, happy and always ready to answer questions about the area or offer a hand if you need it. And unexpectedly, we did need help and they were there for us. I cannot praise them enough.
Peter, the owner, is a lovely man and is very particular about the look and cleanliness of the site. He can be seen out on his wonderfully creative home-made gadgets with Martin mowing and cleaning the site. A definate interesting site to behold.
Nearby is the town of Thame, a 5 minute drive or a very scenic 20 minute walk through fields. Thame has all the basics, supermarkets, pubs, cafes and coffee shops. There are wonderful pubs surrounding the town offering great food. The City of Oxford is a 15 minute drive away. Also, Oxford Caravan are located a short drive away for those essential items. Great location.
Would we stay here again? Most definitely!

What a lovely place to stay. Good level pitches with hook up and water at every pitch. Lots of walks nearby and only 15 min walk away from Thame a sweet little town with plenty of pubs and shops.
It’s also on a bus route to Oxford.
The wardens live on site and are very friendly and helpful.

Good level field with reinforcement on some pitches. Warden on site. Several other vans here, but reasonable distance away.
Hookups, which we didn't use. Excellent basic site in easy walking distance of interesting little town. Reasonably quiet, though some aircraft overhead.
Red kites!

Met by Pete who shows you your pitch and explains any house rules. Nice little site with a pleasant walk into the town of Thame.
Nicely spread out doesn't seem to have the restriction of your usual 10mx 10m pitch. Each electric point has a water connection so easy to connect/disconnect a hose for tank filling.
Grey waste can also be disposed into the hedge. Obviously no loos or showers but overall a great site and we'd stay again.

Lovely rural village site nr Thame. Well kept with handstandings. Easy walk/cycle ride to nice little town of Thame through quiet roads, paths and fields.
Would definitely stay again. Also local walk/cycle on local railway path. Owner on hand for any queries.

Site owner Pete very friendly and accommodating, nothing too much trouble. Site very quiet but only a short walk into Thame along a footpath.
Great for bird spotting including red kites, long tailed tits, field fares and a woodpecker. We will definitely be back for another visit.
No toilets or shower block which is fine for us, good hardstanding areas well thought out along with recycling of rubbish and good disposal point.
