Large, level pitch with good access. Was described as full service but did not have grey water drainage available.
Shower and toilet facilities were warm, clean and modern.
Warden was friendly and helpful.

Our pitch had hedges on 3 sides, which was good for privacy, but other pitches were more open.
Pub next door serving good food was a big bonus.
Road noise from nearby M5 motorway was a negative.

We were given a very friendly welcome.
The campsite was spotlessly clean and maintained site.
Bathroom facilities were also very clean.
We were very happy with our visit.

From the moment you arrive you feel welcome, warden is very pleasant and nothing is too much trouble,
Toilet and shower facilities are first class and very clean,
Site is very tidy and pitches are large,
Also next to a very good pub, good food and service.
Would have no hesitation staying on this site again.

Campsite easy to get to from both directions off M5, but read directions as roads are narrow if you don’t use directions.
Site has big plots and showers clean. Jane very helpful (site manager)
Pub next to site which served good food as we arrived late.
Slight traffic noise from M5 but didn’t bother us (might be an issue in summer, if windows open. )
All in all a good site and would use again.
Thank you Jane.

Absolutely excellent camp site spotlessly clean on the site and in the amenities an absolute credit to the wardens,
There was quite a few people using it as a stop off on the way to Devon and Cornwall as it is really close to the M5.
The pub on site does excellent food at a very fair price
Would definitely return if I was looking to go to that area again

A well maintained site with friendly, helpful staff. The pitch was spacious. The facilities were modern and very clean. The Pepper Pot (Hoggies) is a pleasant pub serving good beers and food.
The site is well situated for accessing the surrounding attractions, including Berkeley Castle, Cotswolds, Sharpness Canal, Slimbridge WWT, Cattle Ranch Country Park, etc,
The only down side is the proximity of the M5 which can be noisy at times.

We have just returned from a weekend at this site. Lovely friendly welcome shown to our pitch, which was a hardstanding fully serviced pitch. The toilet block was spotless nice and warm.
The pub food was very good we ate there on the sat night and a lovely breakfast before we left this morning.
The noise from the M5 didn't affect our stay.
We will be returning for a longer stay next year.
